Jumping on a day late - but Srusha and Geeshu - this is such a wonderful effort from you both 👏 Thank you for doing this 🤗
I have to admit I've never actually seen the show end to end pre-leap period. And I just sat down to watch the first two episodes back to back now, to catch up with the pace here... what an impact this show was from the word Go! The cinematography left me in awe - the entire desert terrain has this mystical and enchanting aura about - and there's a strange sense of beauty in the harsh settings. The blues and barrens and lack of green - wonderful wonderful wonderful! The crew for this show has truly been phenomenal, and I confess it seemed all the more pronounced at this early point of the show, when the characters only just beginning to shape and my attention can significantly focus on the technicalities!
Like you said - I didn't think I could actually watch Vasant and Gulaal as a couple after being such a prejudiced GK phankaa... but these opening episodes really set the tones right, don't they?! You've just got to love both the brothers - each for his own kind of wiring! Ironically, while 3 brothers of the same house fell for Gulaal - she too, of course, had not a chance not falling for at least 2 😆 How complex can fate become?!
Honestly, watching this show now from episode 1 - feels like a brand new story just here, maybe because I haven't really seen these episodes as such. Or maybe, because the story building is so strong, that each chapter draws you in like it holds an unknown, even when we know the very final end!
Everyone who was responsible for coming up with this idea - take a bow! 👍🏼 I couldn't have imagined how much potential this gone and done story could still hold for me - but watching the opening two episodes went on set the example! Looking forward to tomorrow so eagerly!
ps: Does anyone find it just a little amusing that for a land which was so dry and barren - the post leap phase has been shot with so many rain sequences?! Long gone were the dry times... Nirja really was the water-magic-woman, wasn't she?! 😆
Srush - the caps are awesome. you caught the classic moments. ROFL @ Kesu being bina dabbe ka engine 🤣 The makings of the man he was going to become one day, were all in slow but sure progress from day 1! Simple and straight was never him - and yet, could anyone beat him at being blunt?! The way he was on the roll taking MB's case - I was officially in shock and awe 😆 On a side note - koi mujhe batayega ke sirf Raman ko hi kabhi kadake ka jhaapad kyu nahi pada?! He was the most deserving candidate - if ever there was one... unless jhaapads in Talsagra had a reverse emotional attachment of love, not hate! Anyway, maybe he did... in some episode I haven't seen.
Oh well - Day 3 - enter Galool 😆
xx

I forgot to say and just had to - what excellent dialog writing. Every word, especially now in viewing this in retrospect, has so much meaning for the future! Vasant's entire speech of how fate shows 'signs'... the way he asked everyone to consider why he of all the people was the one told about the Nirja dream by Ramjadiya (RJ)... even his telling his camel that their survival was a sign they would meet RJ... And of course MB's promise to Giga about Vasant never going Rashipur way... destiny really isn't everything we plan for it to be - usually, although we realize too late, its better!
