Chapter ten;
kesar stared at her coming down the stairs her red lehenga flowing on the floor behind her, her mang tikka moving as she raced down the stairs, this was gulaal, Lol, Devdas. his gulaal and suddeny it all started to make sense. his mind raced back to all those coincidences, gulaal's rishta coming on the same day as his bhabi, the rishta getting fixed, his bhabi also working in a call centre. She works in a call centre? That jobs crazy fun :P But I wouldn't class that as a proper job... a horrible truth struck him, gulaal was going to be his hone wali bhabi and even worse his brother had now spoilt her life. It's not even Vasants fault. Slap this Kesar. he moved towards her but she reached her mother first. Awkward.

gulaal saw her mother sitting on the floor weeping and raced over to her not caring that anyone was loking, she knelt down beside her mother and held her in her arms,
"shh maa, chup hojayie, kya hogaya hai aapko" she loked up at motaba and said to him
"kya hua hai meri maa ko, kya kiya aap logo ne". Chill out. 😎
motaba looked down not being able to say anything out of shame, gulaal looked questioningly across the room and her eyes fell on kesar.
"tu tu yaha kya kar raha hai" she said shocked because standing there was none other than kesar. he slowly moved foward and stood next to his father,
"humey maaf kar deh gulaal, vasant baa chale gaye hai. What?? he left? what a pussy.
gulaal stared at him trying to make sense of what had just happened, what was he doing here and where had vasant gone. baa he had called vasant baa, she realised this could only mean one thing, kesar was vasant's brother, she stared at him shocked, unable to say anything.
meanwhile poonam had got control of herself and turned towards her daughter, "chala gaya hai vasant, tujhe chor ke, chala gaya hai aur ab yeh ghar bhi humara nahi raha" and she started weeping, gulaal just stared at her mother blankly.
meanwhile the people all around had started to whisper, several things, one after the other. Dont know whats going on. Im hungry.

kesar wanted to move foward and hide her in his arms, he wanted to tell her that everything was going to be ok, but he knew gulaaal had suffered enough humiliation in one day and could do without. he turned to motaba and said "mujhe aapse baat karni hai". Humiliation? No. Say no to arranged marriages.
A few minutes later motaba turned to the people and folded his hands, "sab log kripa kar ke apne apne ghar vaapis chali jayi, yahan koi shaadi nahi hone waali".
someone spoke out from the crowd of people "par poonamji aur gulaal ka kya".
"aap sab inki fikar mat kiyjye, inki zimidari main uta tha hoon, gulaal aur poonamji, aa kar humare saath humare ghar mein rahenge, gulaal ab meri beti jaisi hai, aur jab vakt ayega, main koi accha sa ladka dhoond ke iski shaadi bhi kar doonga". Happy daysss!

gulaal lay in this unkown house, she could not think clear, her mind raced with the events of the day, she could not believe that in less than three weeks, this is what her life had turned into, she had lost her father, her izzat, there house and most important of all, her kesar. Oh my days, this has gone beyond the line. Love it.
i cant she thought, main ab kesar ke baare mein soch bhi nahi sakti, which was quite hard, considering they were in the same house, she thought of her promise to her father, she looked towards, where her mother lay next to her, she could hear the soft sounds of snoring, her mother had just dozed off, she reached ut and gently touched her mothers head.
main janti hoon maa, aap bohot dookhi hai, lekin ab main aap ko aur dookh nahi doongi, main paise kama kar ab apka beta ban kar rahongi, she stared at the room, aur bohot jald main aapko yaha se bhi bahir nikal doongi, vapis apne ghar mein. she thought, of her house, with her father and mother and her living happily, she felt tears roll out of her eyes, paani she thought, main jaa kar paani le aati hoon. HAHAHAAHA...hahaha. OMG. Jokes.

in the kitchen gulaal took out the bottle of water out of the fridge and turned to look for a glass, she opened sevaral cupboards, before a hand suddenly slipped passed her and handed her a glass.
"yeh loh" she recognised that voice, she turned and came face to face with kesar. With his freshie face.

Gulaal took the glass out his hand and turned to face him.
"thank you".
he just looked at her with pained eyes, kesar could not believe whose life his brother had spoilt, the girl he loved the most in the world.
"im sorry gulaal, im really sorry".
she turned away and poured herself the glass of water. Doubt she gives a shit. I wouldn't of.
"main kya karoon, agar mujhe pata hota ke voh tum thi toh main vasant baa ko aisa kabhi nahi karne deta, mujhe sach mein kuch nahi pata tha...aur tumhare papa, gulaal im really sorry".
tears slid down her eyes as she thought of her father, he made her put the glass down and pulled her close, "shhh sab theek hojay ga". Yes yes.
gulaal had no energy left to react, she just put her head against him and cried, all the sorrow that been she had been hiding in her, she let it out. he consoled her as she wept. Intimate.
when she had regained control she gently moved away from him, he stared at her, tears stained all over her face, she looked so hurt, he wanted to find vasant baa and punch his face out. Naw.
why did this have to happen to her and without thinking he pulled her close and planted a soft kiss on her forehead.
gulaal stared at him unable to believe what he had just done, "teri himmat bhi kaise hui."
"im sorry gulaal main.:
"bas mujhe kuch nahi suna" all she really wanted to do was let him hold her and never let her go but she thought of her mother and how she needed her support much more and how she would never accept her being with kesar. "mere paas aane ki koshish bhi mat karna, jiska bhai aise hoga, voh khud kaisa hoga" and with that she ran out of the kitchen.
kesar looked after her hurt,unable to believe what she had just said. OWNEDDD.

kesar awoke the next morning, remembering the past night's events. choro na he thought ,jab gulaal comfortable feel kare gi voh khud hi mujse baat karne lage gi. he looked over at his bedside clock the time read 12 o clock, shit, he thought main itni der tak soya. he got up, showered and then went down stairs.
'arrey talli. tu kab ayi'. 'abhi abhi maa aur bauji ke saath and she indicated to where her mother and father were sitting with paanba, motaba and poonam. Yay, it's Talli.
'giga kaka, jamuna kaki aap kaise hoh'.
'bas sab theek hai, vasant ka sun ke baara dukh hua beta, hum toh nayi bahu ke swagat mein aye the aur yeh kya hogaya'.
at the mention of gulaal kesar started to look around for her.
'baa baki sab kaha hai'.
'voh rewa, devika aur gulaal nashta tayaar kar rahi hai'.
kesar felt happy on hearing that gulaal was taking this house as her own, he made his way to the kitchen, with talli following closely behind. Closely ;)

He looked at her from the doorway laughing, 'kitni sunder lagti hoh', he said out loud without realising.
'tune kuch kaha kesar'. talli said standing behind him.
gulaal noticed kesar standing outside the kitchen and started to feel uncomfortable. she quickly looked down.
'tujhe kuch chahiye kesar' rewa said looking up.
'haan mujhe voh mujhe paani chahiye' and he walked in.
talli followed behind. 'toh gulaal tumhari kitni age hai' she asked.
kesar gave her a dirty look and said ' hamesha personal saval poochna zaroori hai kya'. Yes? :P
'nahi nahi koi baat nahi, main 26 ki hoon'. Oh god, its the age thingy again.
'26 wow, kafi umar hai tumhari, main kesar ki age ki hoon, 20 years ki'.
gulaal attempted a smile and looked down, kesar gave talli another dirty look for being so insenstive.
suddenly 'ouch' gulaal quickly moved her finger away from the cooker and kesar raced over to her and took her hand into his own.
'kaha lagi' he said concerned, blowing at her finger gently.
'kuch nahi ,main theek hoon' she said slightly moving her hand back, for talli was giving them a awkward look.
'chalo khana toh ban gaya' said rewa getting up.
kesar couldn't stop staring at gulaal's hand, she noticed this and felt sad. Sad, pmsl.

the whole family gathered to eat breakfast, poonam had a sort of faraway look on her face, gulaal went and put her hand upon her mother's shoulder, 'aap theek hoh'. FOOOD
poonam attempted a smile and said 'haaan beta main theek hoon'
motaba looked up and said 'poonamji sab theek hai, aap please koi baath mein jijakiye mat.
'main theek hoon, yeh gulaal bhi na aise hi chinta karti rahti hai'
kesar looked at gulaal fondly, this is why he had fallen in love with her, because of the care and warmth she had for everyone, the way she used to speak to him earnstly abut her mother, father, friends and even animals. Awww.
talli who was sitting next to kesar, saw him looking at gulaal and felt jealous. 'chal na kesar tere room mein'
'nahi chup kar abhi toh room se bahir ayaan hoon'.
paanba intervened and said 'le ja na, bechari bore hoh rahi hogi'.

'accha theek hai, jaa mere kamre se shawl le aa'.
as gulaal climbed up the stairs, she could hear laughter coming form what she thought was kesar's room, as she got nearer she peered inside and saw talli and kesar sitting on a sofa, looking at something on the laptop and laughing.
Gulaal suddenly felt very disturbed she quickly left. JOKERRR.
Chapter 13;
motaba,paanba,giga kaka, poonam ba and jumana kaki all left for there walk, gulaal watched them going and smiled and waved at her mother. after half an hour rewa and devika also left for college and gulaal was left alone. kesar and talli were upstairs and gulaal thought it best not disturb them. she went into the kitchen and decided to do some cleaning. while doing the sweeping, she sudddenly saw a big rat, Rat = KESAR. gulaal screamed and run upstairs, kesar ran out of the room and ran straight into her, she clutched his shoulder out of fear and started yelling, 'maine itna bhara rat dekha, mujhe mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai'. kesar started laughing at her bachpana 'tumhe rat se dar lagta hai'. 'haan kesar kitni baar jab hum online the maine tumhe bola tha mujhe rat se bohot dar lagta hai'. a sudden awkwardness came between the two at the mention of being on the online dating site. kesar tried to brush it aside and said 'aao andar aajao' and he indicated inside, gulaal went into the room and looked around ,she had seen this room many times through the computer screen but today it looked somewhat different. talli sat on the sofa looking entirely comfortable like she came here often, this thought made gulaaal feel slightly awkward. 'baito gulaal, yahan tum tallli ke paas baito'. gulaal sat beside talli not knowing if talli welcomed her or not.

'haan gulaal, tho hamesha hi computer par lagi rah thi hai' said kesar enthusiastically.
gulaal let out a small smile 'haan voh main aise hi'.
'aur gulaal tum kaam par nahi jaogi' said talli smiling at her brightly.
'maine voh shaadi ke liye, doh hafte off liye the' gulaal said tears brimming up in her eyes and she looked away.
kesar noticed this and felt really bad for her, 'chalo, ab hum meri baki tasveero par hans the hai'.
gulaal turned towards the laptop and talli who was sitting between kesar and her, started flicking through the pictures.
there was several of his baby pictures that made gulaal smile and one particular one of his in the bathtub as big round baby made her laugh out loud'. kesar felt happy to see her smiling again.
'chalo main, washroom hoke aati hoon' said talli satnding suddenly.
when gulaal and kesar were left alone in the room, kesar suddenly said 'yeh dekho' and pointed at the screen, gulaal looked and was suprised to see a picture of herself making a particularly gruesome face, 'yaad hai tumne mujhe bejiye thi' he said smiling at her, she started to laugh and kesar laughed with her.
he suddenly turned towards her and said 'im sorry gulaal kal raat ke liye'.
'koi baat nahi' she said still smiling' lekin aage se please asia mat karna'.
'nahi karoonga baba, kabhi nahi karoonga, toh ab friends again' and he put his hand out.
she glanced at it, thought for a while and realsied there was nothing wrong with being friends.
she took his hand and smiled at him.
meanwhile talli came back and gave there now joint hand a very dirty look. Duty look, aye ;) Tension.

Gulaal quickly took her hand away and smiled at talli.
talli came inside and announced, 'mujhe bhook lagi hai'. MORE FOOOD. YUM.
'bhhok lagi hai' kesar said giving her an experated look 'abhi abhi toh nashta kiya'.
'gulaal mujhe please kuch bana deh na'.
gulaal looked towards her and then looked down 'voh mujhe kitchen mein jaane se dar lagta hai, vaha ek bohot bara rat tha'.
talli started laughing at her in quite a horrible way 'tujhe rat se dar lagta hai'. gulaal just looked down, looking kind of embarressed, kesar saw this and said.
'chalo hum saath mein neeche chalte hain' and he took gulaal's hand and smiled at her, gulaal gave a sort of weak smile back, talli quickly latched on to kesar's other hand 'arrey tune mera haath kyun pakra, tujhe toh dar nahi lagta'.
talli gave him an extremely dirty look and said 'theek hai, waise bhi main darpok nahi hoon' and left his hand and raced down the stairs.
kesar and gulaal made there way behind her, gulaal still clutching on to kesar's hand tightly. he found this very amusing.
talli decided to make gulaal feel scared and said 'voh dekho rat' pointing in a totally random direction. Points at Kesar ;)
gulaal who was still making her way down the stairs with kesar, slipped out of fear and kesar quickly caught her, she buried her face into his chest, and started to shout 'mujhe bacha loh, mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai'. Oh my days, its just a rat ;)
talli was extremely jealous, this gulaal had spoilt her life ever since the day she had turned up in kesar's life, 'koi rat nahi hai main mazak kar rahi thi'.
gulaal quickly realised what a awkward position she was in and quickly stood up straight, 'im sorry' she said not meeting his eyes.
'koi baat nahi gulaal, issme sorry hone ki kya baat hai, yeh joh talli hai na, aise hi bohot banti hai, isse khud spiders, se bohot dar lagta hai, ek baar na'. and he began to narate a story from there childhood, this made gulaal laugh and she finally looked at ease again****************************************************************************************************
Everyone came back and the rest of the day passed quickly and without any hinderence, until evening when gulaal said to her mother 'mujhe vapis apne ghar jaaana hoga, humari kuch cheeze vahi reh gayi hain.
kesar and gulaal made there way, as gulaal sat on the back of the bike she did not want to hold him, koi baat nahi main girongi toh nahi she thought. as kesar started riding, gulaal was forced to put her arms around his waist, she felt extremely uncomfortable.

kesar turned towards her and said 'nahi hum bike pe jayenge, aur iss samay, theen logo ka baitna kafi dangerous hai'.
talli looked angry and turned towards devika and started talking again.
kesar and gulaal made there way, as gulaal sat on the back of the bike she did not want to hold him, koi baat nahi main girongi toh nahi she thought. as kesar started riding, gulaal was forced to put her arms around his waist, she felt extremely uncomfortable.
They reached in about 20 minutes and upon reaching saw the lights of the house were on.
uncertainly gulaal put the key in and walked inside, kesar following behind.
inside there were two men sitting on the sofa watching tv 'aap yaha kya kar rehe hai' gulaal said although she already knew these were most likely vasants men.
'yeh vasant sir ka ghar hai, aap dono kaun hai aur andar kaise aaye'. Two men watching TV. Sounds funneeeh
kesar looked at them angrily 'humey kuch cheeze chahiyi thi' he turned towards gulaal 'jao, jah kar le aao, jho bhi chahiye, main wait karta hoon'.
gulaal made her way up the stairs and kesar looked on from behind.
suddenly one of the men's turned towards the other 'accha toh yeh ladki hai, jis ko vasant sir chor ke chale gay the'.
'kafi mast cheez hai' said the other.
'TERI KI HIMMAT BHI KAISE HUI' kesar shouted he grabbed the nearest man who was sitting on the sofa and threw him against the wall.
gulaal came running down and saw a horrific scene, kesar was beating the two men like there was no tommorow.
she ran over to him and begged him to stop, his anger knew no end, until she finally stood infront of him and said 'tujhe hamari dosti ki kasam please ruk jaa'.
after she had calmed him down they both left from there.
kesar had actually done well, the two men were bleeding profously and all he had was a scratch across his cheek.
As they sat on the bike, gulaal noticed this and gently touched his cheek 'dard hoh raha hai', at her touch he immidiately felt weak, he turned away and said
'nahi main theek hoon'. Aww :')
'kya hua kesar, kyun itna mara dono ko'. PRISON BREAK.
'voh ter baare mein ulta seeda bol rahe the, mujhe kahi vasant baa mile na tho main unko kabhi nahi choroonaga', he said angrily, knuckling his fists.
'theek hi toh keh rahe he, meri kismat kitni boori hai', she said, her eyes not filled with tears but a faraway saddness.
'joh bhi hua' kesar said facing her 'uske liye kabhi bhi, apne aap ko dosh mat dena aur vaise bhi' he said suddenly grinning 'atleast tu ab mere ghar mein toh agayi hai'.
she slapped him lightly on the back 'shaitan gahi ka'. but suddenly she looked at him seriously 'thanks kesar'.
'arrey abhi mere se kya filmi dialouge sune gi kya, dosti mein no sorry and no thank you'. he said grinning cheesily.
'accha babe theek hai, ab chal warna ghar waale sochenge ge pata nahi kaha reh gaye'.
and they both drove off, gulaal looked back at her house and suddenly felt like she was not leaving something behind, but moving foward with something, she tightly put her hands around kesar's waist and felt much more comfortable than before. Cute.

That evening gulaal paced up and down her room, she was feeling extremly restless and the reason she thought was very silly. She is silly. Silly women.
main itne dino se kesar ki sort of girlfriend rahi hoon aur ab voh talli ke saath aise, she felt really stupid, kal hi toh maine socha tha ke main kesar se door rahongi, toh ab kya hogaya hai mujhe.
suddenly her door knocked, gulaal went and opened it, and standing there was a smiling rewa 'hum ludo khel rahe hai, aap khelengi'. LOVE Rewa. Ill play Ludo with her anytime ;)
gulaal glanced over at her mother who was sleeping, she realised she was not going to get any sleep, just thinking about everything. 'haan chalo'. Kids.
gulaal followed rewa looking around the beautiful house, it had many painting on the wall, suddenly they made a turn, this must be rewa's room.
as she walked in gulaal saw, talli, kesar and devika sitting on the floor , gulaal suddenly felt very concious, she was wearing a long nighty with her gown on top, 'main voh main, change kar ke aati hoon' she said turning to leave.
rewa clutched her hand and dragged her in 'sharma kyun rahi hoh'.
kesar looked up and saw her walk in she looked very pretty with her 'favourite nighty' on. he also noticed she was the colour of a beetroot red. he quickly looked down. PISSING MYSELF RIGHT NOW. 'Nighty' ahahahaha.

the game began and gulaal was loosing, talli looked at her happily and then suddenly announced 'joh bhi harega usko koi dare karna parega'.
kesar noticed gulaal was loosing and suddenly sad to devika 'chal tu idhar bait, main vaha bait tha hoon' and he swapped places with her.
he smiled at gulaal encourigingly and she smiled back. as the game went on her began to help her and soon gulaal was in the lead. until talli said 'tu toh sirf uski madat kar raha hai, mera kya ab mein har rahi hoon, gulaal ki liye special treatment kyun'.
devika and rewa looked embaressed and began to look down, kesar stared at telli angrily 'haan specal treatment hi toh hai, kyunki gulaal bohot special hai'. talli gave him a very dirty look, gulaal looked upset.
as the resumed playing kesar tried to help gulaal again by rolling the dice for her but she gently moved his hand 'main kar loongi' she said smiling at him.
kesar moved back and continued giving talli a dirty look. finally the game ended, rewa came first, talli came second, talli came third, gulaal came last.
she still smiled and said 'koi baat nahi, mujhe kya karna hoga'. LOL. Sounds dirty.
'tum gana gaa loh' said talli, thinking gulaal's vocie would be quite horrible and she wouldn't be able to do it, she closed her eyes and rested back ready for the torture.
suddenly a sweet voice filled the entire room, they all satred as gulaal sang, her sweet voice filled the entire room. kesar felt his eyes filling up, her voice was so beautiful, just like her.
when she had finished she gave a little bow and gave a cheeky smile to talli 'theek tha kya'.
talli got up yawned and said 'haan theek tha, main chali sone'.
'bohot pyaari awaaz hain tumhari gulaal' rewa said.
'haan bohot pyaari' devika said smiling at her, 'tujhe kaisi lagi kesar' she said looking over at him.
'acchi thi' kesar said and got up and left. gulaal stared after him stunned, why had he not praised her, she felt kind of sad.

kesar stood in front of the mirror, shirtless, something was stinging him on his back and he couldn't figure out what.
suddenly gulaal barged in she saw him and quickly turned aound and began to laugh 'apni body mirror main kyun dekh raha hai kya'.
kesar grabbed a towel and covered himself 'hans le tu, mujhe pata nahi kyun dard hoh raha hai'. at the mention of pain gulaal turned back round and faced him,' kidar dard hoh raha hai'. Oh god. How gay is he?
'back mein' kesar said looking down embarrassed.
'mujhe dekhne de' and she went to him and gently move the towel, kesar was facing the mirror and gulaal stood behind him checking 'uff tujhe tu chot aayi hai' and she gently blew on his back, kesar felt like he was going to melt.
'na kar' he said moving slightly foward.

'mujhe tu haath mat laga' and he turned and faced her, she looked down at the proper shirtless sight of him 'mujhe kuch hotha hai'.
'chup kar, pagal mat ban, aaja bed par batith, main cream laga thi hoon' gulaal said holding his hand and gently leading him to the bed, she sat him down and asked him where the cream was, 'waha draw mein hai'.
she took the cream applied it on her fingertips and gently massaged it on his back, he sighed happily and thought agar aise gulaal mere paas ayegi, toh aisi chot main roz kah loon.
'tune kuch kaha kesar' gulaal said and then suddenly the front of her gown opened, she looked at it frantically, for she was wearing quite a low nighty underneath, her hands were filled with cream.
'main tie kar deta hoon' and before she could respond he gently moved his hands across her waist and began to tie the knot, gulaal felt really shy and decided to put his mind on something else, 'kesar tune mere gaane ki tareef kyun nhai ki, accha nahi laga'.
he looked up at her his eyes full of love, 'ofcourse accha laga, tareef kyun karta, tujhe toh pata hai, how much i love your voice' and then he added in a low voice 'and you'
gulaal looked at him stunned 'kya kaha'
'tune kya suna'.
'kuch nahi, maine kuch nahi suna' she said lowering her eyes 'cream lag gayi, main chalti hoon' and she left.
kesar looked after her ' i do love you, i really do gulaal, aur mujhe pata hai, tune suna maine kya kaha'. Bless em.

'oh haan main toh bhooll hi gaya tha' and he thought of all his old friends who he had not met in a long time. Old people these days.
gulaal who was still standing at the kitchen door smiled to see kesar so happy.

kesar looked up and saw gulaal standing near the kitchen doorway, 'gulaal yaha aa na, waha kya akele khari hai', gulaal was about to make her way over to them, when paanba suddenly called out to her 'khana ban gaya beta'
'bas baa, abhi thoda reh gaya hai' and gulaal made her way back into the kichen
paanba suddeny let out a big sigh 'main ja kar bechari ki madat kar deti, lekin mere sar mein bohot dard hoh raha hai', kesar just smiled at her and looked towards the kitchen concerned, gulaal had never handled such a big kitchen all by herself. Gosh, this is making my hungry :P

kesar looked at his watch and realised it actually was quite late 'mujhe bhi jaana chahye,mein jaa kar khud hi apni chai bana leta hoon, gulaal itna kuch nahi manage karegi', he was about to rise when talli pulled him back,
'kaha jaa raha hai, aaj kaam se choti, maine aate hi motaba sey keh kar teri chooti kara li thi, tu aaj mujhe gumane ke liye karega'.

'tu bhi na pagal hai' and jamna kaki and paanba started laughing, 'aise hi tere saath ghumne nahi jaa sakti, itna toh haq hai na mera', she said rolling her eyes.
kesar sat thinking about what she had said 'khana lag gaya' he looked up and saw gulaal stading there looking extremly proud of herself.
they made there way towards the dining table, they all sat and ate the wondeful cooked by her, she stood on the side and watched happily.
'khana theek hi bana tha' jamna kaki said looking at her 'rasoi ko bhi saaf kar liya'
'jee sirf bartan reh gaye hai' gulaal said smiling 'main abhi jaa kar doh deti hoon'

talli who was the only one still eating, with a single plate infront of her suddenly choked on a spice, she started coughing and spluttering 'main paani le aata hoon', he went into the kitchen and saw her from the back, washing dishes and gently humming a soulful tune
he gently went behind her and put his arms around her, she panicked slightly and then gasped
'kesar, meri jaan lene ka irada hai kya', he put his head into her hair and said 'nahi, jaan toh tum meri leh logi, apne beautiful look's ke saath',
'chup kar baten mat bana, aur yeh bata khana kaise bana tha',
'delicious,par kuch meetha hojata toh'
'kesar please jaa na, abhi koi aa jay ga aur phir tu dekhna',
he gently turned her round and looked at her
'hey, main apni biwi ke saath hoon, next door neighbour ki biwi ke saath nahi, aur ek baat kahoon, tere chehre par atta laga hua hai'
'kaha' and she started moving her hand around her face,
'yaha' and he gently kissed her neck, she stood there staring into his eyes, memerised by the feeling of his lips on her skin , he moved towards her and talli came in,
they both lept apart, talli looked warily at gulaal and said 'kesar mere liye paani lene aaya tha,lekin lagta hai ke tune usse baton mein laga diya aur voh bhool gaya'
gulaal stared at her and kesar just went on smiling, talli came in and got kesar by the arm 'chal mere saath, upar chal ke decide karte hai kaha jaana hai' and she started draggng him out, paanba came and stood in the doorway 'gulaal motaba ke liye bhi tiffin bana deh main kisi ko bejh deti hoon'

Gulaal finally finished all the work and went out of the kitchen, she had still not eaten but now did not have enough strength to, she felt very weak and tired, although she did help her mother in the house chores she had never done this much.
paanba and jamna kaki were getting ready to go somewhere 'gulaal hume kahi bahir jaana hai, talli aur kesar upar hai. thodi der baad rewa aur devika college se aajayengi unko khuch khane ke liye de dena' and then they left, muttering among themselves.
as she made her way upstairs she thought about that morning, when talli and jamna kaki had come they did not greet her properly nor say anything about her and kesar, infact they completely ignored her, panba was not behaving any better and motaba although nice still had a sort of pained look in his eyes as he looked at her, she suddenly felt very dizzy and clutched the railing, thodi dher ke liye let jaati hoon, thoda behter feel hoga' and she made her way into her and kesar's room. as she opened the door talli and kesar were laughing about something, they both looked u as she entered 'voh mere sar mein kaafi dard hoh raha hai, main thodi dher ke liye yaha let jaoon, ya agar aap dono disturb hoh rahe hai, toh main next door chali jao' she suddeny felt dizzy again and held the door, kesar jumped up and held her
'yeh kya hogaya tujhe, chal let jaa, aur tu pagal hai kya ab toh yeh tera hi kamra hai, mujse pooch ke kya, tu jab aana chahi hai aa sakti hai' she tried to walk again and did not manage, he gently lifted her off the ground and placed her on the bed.
'main doctor ko bula du kya' he said worried,
'nahi main thodi der let jaongi toh theek hojaongi' she looked at where talli was sitting staring at them angrily, Issues right there.
'tu ja kesar, jaa kar jo kar raha tha voh kar le'
talli said in a very loud voice 'haan hum dono movie dekhne ke liye jaa rahe the, par ab' and she looked at gulaal,
'koi baat nahi tum dono chale jao, main theek hon'
'chup karke let jaa gulaal, movie ka baad mein dekha jayga' and he put his hand over eyes.
after a few minutes she fell into a light sleep.

kesar looked at her worried, he did not understand whether he should have been doing something, talli sat on the sofa sulking, suddenly kesar had an idea, 'tu jaa kar tayaar hoh jaa talli hum aadhe gante baad chalte hain, saath mein rewa, devika aur gulaal ko bhi le chalte hai'.
talli looked at gulaal irratably 'yeh kaise jaa sakti hai, iski toh tabiyat hi theek nahi hai'
kesar looked at talli stunned 'iska naam bhi hai talli, aur gulaal ko main utha kar poochta hoon, tu jaa kar tayaar hoh' and talli left sulking.
kesar gently went and sat next to her on the bed 'guaal, gulaal',
she opened her eyes and smiled up at him
'ab kaisa feel kar rahi hoh'
'pehle se much better, mujhe lagata hai sirf neend ki zuroorat thi, voh bhi teri galti hai' and she arched her eyebrows giggling at him 'mujhe aadhi raat tak jaga ke nahi rakta toh sab theek hojata'.
'lekin ab toh teri neend puri hogayi hai na, matlab aaj raat tu mere saath late tak jag sakti hai' he said smiling mischivously, she looked at him fondly 'pagal ladka'.
'accha sun gulaal hamre saath chelegi na mvie dekhne ke liye' he asked.
gulaal thought about talli and how she did not seem happy with her, she did not want to create trouble for no reason
'nahi tum dono jao'
'kyun gulaal tum bh chalo na' and then he added 'tali ko main akele kaise jhelon ga, nahi baba tu bhi chal'
she protested for quite a while until he gave her a dangerous look
'soch leh, nahi chalegi'
kesar maine kaha na'. he lept into the blanket with her and tightly pressed himself againt her 'theek hai, waise bhi mujhe bhi neend aa rahi hai' and he closed his eyes and put his arms around her, she struggled for a few minutes and then finally said
'theek hai, main chalti hoon'
'good girl, jaldi se tayar hoh jaa, main aur talli gari mein intezaar karte hai aur haan jaldi karna i think rewa and devika ko bhi college se pick karna hoga'.
as he was leaving, she called out
'kesar saree pehna kya zaroori hai, mujse toh chala hi nahi jaata'
'nahi, tum toh joh bhi pehno sunder lagti hoh, joh pehna hai, pehen loh' and he smiled and walked out.

As they walked into the cinema hall and sat in there seats, kesar in the middle with talli and gulaal on either side, rewa and devika had refused to come for they were going to there friend's house and therefore it was just the three of them.
kesar could not help but stare at gulaal she looked stunning in a light blue salwar suit and tiny diamond earrings, as the lights went down, he removed the armrest from between them and she snuggled up to him, talli immidiately didt he same 'muhe scary movies se bohot dar lagta hai', kesar knew for a fact she was lying but decided to stay quite. oh my effing god, you didnt not just say cinema hall. sometimes i doubt if you really are from london or not.
as the movie went on gulaal became more and more restless, until she finally got up and said softly to kesar 'main thodi dher ke liye bahir jaa kar wait karti hoon'
he got up too 'main bhi chalta hoon',
'nahi kesar tu baith, movie kahatam kar ke hi bahir aana, talli dekh rahi hai'. and she walked out. 🤣

gulaal walked out into the main entrance where the tickets were being sold but still did not feel any better, main bahir jaa kar car park main baithi hoon, shayad kuch better feel karoon.

kesar came out of the movie shouting at talli 'saari movie dekhna zaroori tha kya?, pata nahi bechari gulaal ki kya halat hoh gi'.
he looked around the entrance and could not see her anywhere 'jaa jake ladies washroom mein check kar aa talli' he instructed her, she was about to reply but he had a look of fierceness in his eyes, she went without replying.
kesar became more and more worried as he searched for her, it was coming to 8 o clock in the evening and they had been looking for her, for a pretty long time.
'chal na kesar shayad gulaal ghar chali gayi ',
'gulaal mujhe bole bina kabhi nahi jaati, he said looking fiercely at talli,
'main toh taxi se ghar jaa rahi hoon, agar aana hua, toh aajana, waise bhi kal kitna impotant din hai' and she left.
kesar looked around, gulaal kaha chali gayee hai tu. Up your bum.
