That's all?? You don't want any other bits from your most fav. interview ever?😆

I'll make it and post it in a bit :-)

For my siggie box - I'll keep the khach khuch - the other bits that I like are profound in word - avi mein kya sunega mujhe? 😆 And someone really needs to translate the khach khuch for me! Why did Neil stop Mansi from doing her good deed of the day?! Nautanki dono! 😆

Actually I also really liked the bit when Mansi said something about the experience of working with great co actors and Neil was all raise eyes and smug... then again, when she said - Neil se bhi kuch seekha hai maine - LOL at his 'mock-shochk' laugh then... and finally, as quite a few people pointed out, when Mansi was talking about how the viewers have followed the show minutely for intricacies and nuances he was just looking at her - it was almost Kesar for a moment, and not Neil - the act really grew on him! 😆

Sigh! - the interview was so wholesome awesome! That, and the confession scene really sealed things for me so, so well!

And this is what I'm thinking/doing suba suba at freaking 6 something AM - I need to get a life, and more importantly get out of bed to routine now. Second Monday with no 9PM :(

Khach Khuch is probably another gem from the Neil dictionary of made up words😆...but my fav. creation from that dictionary will remain GALOOL😆...kya perfect nickname nikala tha Gulaal ke liye😆

My fav. bits are actually two others...1) the bit when Neil does that nautanki of "teri bahut yaad aayegi Jeetu"🤣 and 2) the bit after khach khuch...when Manasi is again teasing him about the girls loving him more than her and he makes this FACE at her...brief but hilarious moment😆

Great Caps Nur 👍🏼... and Lovely discussions you guys!.. *nods head vigorously in agreement to your views* ..lol..

It's wonderful to read how you pinpoint the tiny details...much like how Manasi says in her interview..satisfaction for the performer and audience alike..

Hey thanks, Maz! I guess I'm taking out my dil ki bhadaas after not being able to join in the discussion when the epi originally aired.

I loved what Manasi said about both the performers and the audiences being creatively satisfied too...she always speaks so eloquently...

Overall, there is such a lovely vibe of POSITIVITY that has remained with this show from start to finish...no silly articles about BTS drama or issues b/w the cast...they stuck to the storyline, the solid screenplay they had and did their job sincerely...every single one...from the writers to the actors to the technicians and the directors...and that is what gave us so much material to pour over and discuss...rarely do we even come across such shows on TV anymore. They maintained that positivity till the very end as is obvious from that last NM interview too :-)

And btw I have to say, the fact that show in a sense "ended" on Gulaal and her fav. blue uniform almost makes me sentimental now...lol...they just HAD to show the final epic scene in THAT outfit...the very same outfit she wore when HE confessed and she slapped him away to glory in response, the very same outfit she wore for the 're-friendship' scene...SO many times we've seen both of them in this combination of outfits...him in the white kurta, her in her fav. blue/purple uniform...and really we came full circle in a sense with this last confession.

Also interesting that they both wore red in the last sequence...again, repeated outfits from the previous dhol sequence but even then, the significance symbolism wise remains...both of them in red...i.e Gulaal and Kesar pulls on that yellow/saffron-ish dupatta in b/w, right? Which actually brings me to another random point...Gulaal's first proper glimpse in the show in her first meeting with Vasant was also her in a yellow flowing dupatta or saffron, so to speak...nahin? LOL or maybe I'm overthinking...but the saffron i.e. Kesar has been with her since day one in some form.

^ Oh yep the positivity still lingers...I am still not really that sad about the show not being on air anymore...cos whatever it has provided is wonderful enough to be cherished for a long time.. You can go back to watching the show from the start, reach the end and still have this huge smile on your face always..

Yea true.. the entire team was dedicated to their work which translated on screen in what we saw...It's sheer luck that we get to see a show which has a wonderful script and more importantly perfect actors cast for each role..

Edit: hehe yea about the clothes so true...the favorite blue one!

OK random observation...I realized how all the characters in the show have just a first name...it's just one name..Kesar, Gulaal, Vasant etc...no surname ..unlike many other shows where there is so much emphasis on them..lol..

Exactly, I'm honestly not sad at all...I have nostalgia, yes...I'll miss some things a lot, yes...but I'm not sad...especially cuz we got such a great and fitting end...and also cuz like you said, we can go back and rewatch it and we know we'll cherish the story each time...

I'd compare this to reading a great book...all stories have a finite ending point...and while you do feel this twinge of regret at the book ending...this wonderful story that kept you so engaged, but at the same time you feel satisfaction on some level that you got a great ending that tied up the story and did justice to it.

And the fact that we will be able to remember this show with a fondness is a rare gift I'll say...literally 99% of even halfway decent shows are ruined quite early in the game and you are hardly left with any good memories to cherish.
