Looks like its not really going to end as sweetly as we would have want. But yaar we cant really accuse the cv's, though at some point, yes. That's exactly what happens when you're giving a certain deadline. It just creats a chaos. That is what has happened here. Cv's didnt know about the channel's conspiracy to axe their show. They might have had a good track that they wanted to show but since the date of their show being axed clash into the story, they didnt have a paucity of time to put it nicely and therefore they aggregated everything together, which turned out to be a mess. But on the other hand i would say, when they were given a month time or lets say three weeks, they should have done everything correctly. They shouldn't have wasted alot of days on the kitchen politics etc...I dont know what or how to expect everything in these two days! I am not only sad on the fact that this show is ending so soon but also frustrated on the fact the way they are ending it...

I want to echo incandescence - I was mad yesterday... today i'm more confused... Despite the fallout yesterday, I'd hoped we'd get some GK scenes which would be powerful enough to help us ignore the lapse... A little off the usual argument by people above me, while lack of GK and importance to sidekicks is one issue, my problem is almost solely the lack of connection with Gulaal's character at this point. Her profound emotions are just lost on me, and its all seemingly superficial at some level... I can't connect with her anymore, the opening scene today just sealed that for the worse... I missed the Gulaal from the mandir scene on Friday - who took the flowers, but did not miss to show that nuance of underplaying melancholy in feeling Kesar's strain equally... That she called of the DV for the family sake was acceptable to me, - its Gulaal. That she went back to the house for Krishtanami was also okay - but that she just remained oblivious to Kesar until he showed up, then had this almost genuinely and not posed for his sake dismissive treatment of the GK scenes - like Nur said, she was almost sleep walking the scenes scripted... the opening scene honestly could have been altogether another vibe if done like the usual GK scenes which leave us so moved - for good or bad - this one just didn't get in there and hit me like that!

I feel sad about losing the feel for this show now - because it became something so treasured... If this the same team of CVs - which they probably are - what a sad thing to fall flat at such a point...

These cannot be the same CV's ...you are absolutely right in thinking so...

I hadnt seen his post and i just wrote the same thing t to all of you in another post

Looks like the original Cv's bid goodbye after the flower exchange between Kes-Gul...

After that each episode has been unbelievably below standard !

Jzee...that is exactly what I said on the EDT...the soul is lost. I don't know how else to phrase it...the only thing that comes to mind over and over again is that the soul is lost🥺

I hate the amount of time that is being spent on Kulli because that precious time is being taken away from Gul Kes. I said this to Nur but it seems like they are leaving everything for the ME which is just absurd?? I am so not looking forward to seeing a half baked - Oh wow, I love him - realization. I am also a bit amazed by the sense of abruptness to Gul Kes scenes...one minute she misses him, one minute she can't even notice that he not there, he walks her home and pops out a toffee😕. Gul Kes scenes used to be emotionally charged and power packed - whether they were fighting, gazing, hiding from each other, playing ludo, what have you...it used to leave us wanting for more...I have a hard time connecting with Gulaal and her feelings right now.

Oh, I so do not want the accident to be the "thing" that makes her realize...no no no...😭

Bingo...Gulaal's flashbacks during KT's pheres were a HIGH POINT...it should have been a turning point...but no, suddenly in the next epi it's like those FBs never happened😕...that was the start of the slide downhill...what they should have built up on, they didn't...and instead just changed tracks.

@Mash: Exactly! CHEATED is the word...

@bold: That's exactly my issue too, Jzee...I could probably have dealt with the saas-bahu filler stuff they are showing if they had shown Gulaal's emotions in a more profound and consistent manner...instead they are just showing it all in a token lackasaidal sort of way...I just can't connect...and I can't even connect with the lead protagonist emotions then seriously what's the point??? Why should I then CARE if she goes running back to Kesar, pray tell dear Gulaal creatives? WHY bring in this superficiality at THIS point when everything has been on track all along?? HOW?? WHY?? I just can't believe these are the same ppl who otherwise kept to the plan throughout and lost it NOW?? If they had to lose it, they could have lost it a month back only and lost interest in the show...why do it in this very final stretch? It makes no sense.

Some lapse on Mansi's part too perhaps - I miss the nuances in her acting from yesterday to today.

Arshi - You say it word. It's like they just sort of didn't have a plan about how to go after her FBs at the pheras... the entire burns hand at chullah night before from Kesar ki yaadein and her realization, and wakes up to think of family calls Talli and forgets the name Kesar is just so warped up! Its like the messed up the chronology of the episodes... if she'd come home from DV and thought about family first - I'd have still made sense, because she did break the DV on that premise really... but they show her first reactions and memories all revolving around Kesar, then she sleeps one night somewhere in between and wakes up like a ghost of her month old version just got revived?! Its so so odd!

Imli's would have connected so much better in the opening scene... maybe Kesar could have referred to finding some in the drawer of old room in the haveli or something... the toffee just crops out of nowhere and does nothing to save the lost connection ...

Couldn't agree more...

It would have been nice if they showed Gulaal feeling the pains of leaving Kesar behind along with the family as well..something like her turning around after saying goodbye..and unable to control her tears... that toffee scene did not leave any impact.. he literally spelt it out for her...by asking that question...and she hardly had much reaction to it...

Her flashback's were so random...why couldn't she have the flashback of that day when he told her that the only way she could stay in the house after the DV breaking off, would be if she fell in love with him... or the flashback of his confession to her...

the Kesar - Motabha scene was good...but oh the irony of it...here we are wanting Gulaal to realize her feeling towards Kesar on her own..and what do we get...cliche accident and a final push from the ghost of boyfriend's past...uff...

@Jzee: Yes, I also feel that some nuances are missing in Manasi's acting when it comes to her scenes with Kesar...I'm not sure if it's the fault of the writing or the direction as well but it's majorly lacking.

@Maz: I've been waiting since many days to see her get that FB of Kesar saying that all of this is only possible if she falls in love with him but nothing...we're getting random FBs which have no point otherwise...and she hasn't thought about his confession of love to her since the time he offered to break the DV at the panchayat...that has permanently been erased from her mind it seems...chalo woh bhi chhodo...she hasn't once even thought of the times when he CONSOLED her...those were such poignant scenes...but nope, nothing rings a bell in Galool ji's head...thanks to the editors or whoever puts the FBs in...upar se today when she's supposedly having a "happy dream" about her and Kesar...seriously that's ALL they could come up with? Random 15 second bit of GK laughing over something that wasn't shown?? The chemistry was SO missing in that scene...it's like the actors too have already lost interest😕
