How Gulaal failed to get better TRP?

My answer to the question as below. Let me know what do you think:

From now on CVs should show 80% KG scene and 20% other character. Usually it is just reverse. They show KG for 20% of time slot and 80% other character. This is the reason TRP was effected. General people does not have patience to wait long long time to see most interesting part of the show. They just simply change the button of remote controle.

Untill now fans are waiting for KG relationship development for so long time, but still CVs did not show longer KG scene, though which ever they did was very beautifull but for only few nano seconds.

General public, or even fans do not have interest to see Giga Kaka's suicide attempt or JK's/PB's shout for long time. They want to see real uniqueness of character Gulaal and other lead character arround it. This is how other drama get better TRP and make viewers happy. Even though other dramas has no story line, still they survive in this TRP competition just by showing lead character most of the time slot.

Though Gulaal was a classic wonderfull story , it failed to keep viewers remote controles down just because of this reason, not focusing properly on lead characters with more importance.

It is not just us fans who want to see KG scene more , but it was also good for Gulaal show, to get the best drama award from star plus. I am not talking about romantic scene, just their(K/G) relation should be at highlight and should be shown minimum 60% of the duration of the drama at list at this crucial time when drama is almost ending.

By quality, Gulaal is the number 1 show, but by TRP why it goes down, that is what I wanted to highlight. Sometimes too many things going on and we lost our focus from most important issues of KesGul relation. For example I find Talli Kunal marriage issues should be out of focuse and should be done in shorter way. For example today it was only 4 minutes K/g's house .. They could show more of K/G. Well Giga kaka issue was not prolongated today and hope it will not be prolong in next eppisode.

I like all those character, there would be some drama as story line for Raman's crime, I agree, but it should be done as short as possible now, as we have only few episodes left..

I myself is a very serious viewer and the above comment is my finding, as we always try to analize why the TRP is falling. Our concern is, why we did not get much better TRP, which Gulaal deserves?

Self criticism is the best way of improvement.😊

i agree with u totally they didnt show kg scenes much they fighted for long period other than talking nicely and out of it they r ending the story ina hurry burry without kg scenes😭😭😭😭 and they showed talli scenes kt r gk scenes not kg thats why trp down

You know I'm a big sucker of romance...I may crib about dupattas flying, trip-fall-catch scenes dat get activated on "MAHA REPAEAT" mode in every other show but I bet I have the widest smile sitting in front of the screen when the scenes go on...

The difference I found while watching this show is that...its P.E.R.F.E.C.T.
Each actor gives power packed performances...Talent literally explodes on your screen...
Be it Mota Bha, JK, Dushyant or even yesterday Giga... (I dun need to mention Kesar and Gulaal...They define it!)

I think this show is the perfect blend. It focuses on the entire family and dey take care of minute details like Kesar learns to clean at his boarding skool...

Its really commendable.

Many other shows just inject romantic scenes (sumtyms with reason but majorly without a reason) to garner TRPs...while this show gives you the subtlest romance every found on TV...

Gawd! I sound like fan girl! Guess I am one! And proud bout it!

The makers of this show ain't TRP greedy ppl who twist the story and damage it just so that audience gropes for more romantic scenes...They stick to their script and yet manage to give us the best.

Yeah I too am complaining that KG get less screen time...but I think it was necessary to show Giga's outburst and Dushy's redemption track...

I think they should have cut out on the Kulli scenes (Yawn!)

Phew! I wrote long. So basically IMO DA SHOW IS THE BESTEST and the makers are the most brilliant ones around.

it a beatiful story abt PURE LOVE i really going to miss gulaal i am die hard fan of gulaal in this everybody doing a greatese job igoing to miss them so much especially neil and manasi i think people couldnt understand abt concept of pure love they want stupind saas bahu fightings or unrealistick eye locking and poping before they end the story atleast take 3more weeks end it proparly i felt like they r doing in hurry burry beacause how come raman confess his sin suddenly he could have been lie abt 22lakhs i thought kesar will find abt the raman truth not the family

ANYWAY I AM GOING TO MISS THIS SHOW THIS IS THE ONLY SHOW SO BADLY WITHOUT STUPID ROMANCE STILL U CAN FEEL THE LOVE

SO HATTS OFF FOR GULAAL TEAM THEY NEVER COMPRAMISED FOR TRP👏👏👏

I am not saying anything different than you, if you see the previous two post of mine. My main anger on Kulli, and yesterday when I wrote this thread, I was quite upset on news article about Giga kaka's suicide attempt. But it is handled very nicely yesterday. When I am saying K/G relation, it do not need to be romantic. Hope you agree with me ,when K/G come to the screen, whole drama get at different level, does not matter it is romantic or not..They are the lead character including MB.

k/G MB,These three characters are heart of Gulaal.

At this crucial time even k/G are not getting much screen space. Which is unfare with us. It is OK not to get much TRP, but being a best show in star plus and at the same time getting best TRP is not something bad.

Gulaal could easily achieve that just by very little change, so we would not loss Gulaal today. If we remember how time was wasted before 8 years leap and just after 8 years leap. Just after 8 year leap they could show little faster so now they could have some space and time to show every single fold of the story, little slower.

My question is how long we can see K/G on screen each day? That was the issue. K/G without romance just the way they are , if they would stay on screen for 10 minutes of the show time, then trust me, Gulaal would not be just number 1 show in star plus but Gulaal would get highest TRP as well. I understand Quality show classic show like Gulaal does not care about TRP and none of us also care about TRP. But it is not bad to get TRP. Think ,if today TRP would be high, Gulaal would not be in this quick ending situation today.

It is just being practical. TRP is an issue. The unique love story or relation we are talking about here , how long we can see it on screen?
