Gulaal is in her room broken, Kesar comes there and turns on the light. Gulaal tells him she has lost everything, she lost Vasant and now her family. He tries to comfort her. She continues that everyone was correct, she betrayed Vasant, she betrayed everyone, she even betrayed Kesar because she didn't answer any of his questions. Kesar refuses and tells her that she didn't betray him. She tells him that she broke everyone's trust. He tells her that everyone is angry and is behaving like this in anger, they will come around. Gulaal doesn't listen and goes on that she always thought that only she realized what was right from wrong and took decisions on behalf of everyone, she thought that she could hide the fire that destroyed her happiness, she feared that the fire would destroy the house. Kesar has an expression of realization since now he knows why she kept Vasant's murder a secret. Gulaal tells him that she should not have kept this from everyone, the result is that this fire has burned her relationship with the house and she couldn't do anything, she should be punished. Kesar cries and yells for her to not stop herself and to break her cloud of sorrow and cry. Gulaal weeps bitterly and cries so badly saying that this family is her world and now this world is destroyed, and cries on his chest, he holds her close in pain seeing her like this.
Reva weeps, Yogesh comes there saying that her family is like this, and goes on saying bad things, Reva asks him to stop, he is shocked. She says she will go to her house and takes Rohan when Yogesh stops her and takes Rohan away asking her to go alone. His father sends Rohan inside and tells both the incident will not have a good impact on Rohan so he should say here, and tells Yogesh not to tell Poonam anything since she is unwell, he cries thinking what Gulaal must be going through, Reva tells him that Gulaal knew of Dushyant's crime for the last 10 years. He is shocked and Reva leaves.
Kunal angrily rummages the house looking for the dowry money. His parents try to pacify him and they have a big argument, he tells them that accepting dowry is a crime, they sold their son so he has no right to stay in the house, and they have no right over him, the price of keeping the money is losing him. His parents come around and agree to return the money.
Mota Bha and Paan Baa are sitting in the room sad, Paan Baa weeps bitterly, Mota Bha tells her that he has not gotten over the shock of Vasant's death and today Gulaal has broken him completely. Reva comes there with food and consoles them. They refuse to eat, Mota Bha tells her even breathing has become a burden.
Kesar sees Gulaal sleeping and covers her with a quilt. He cries and flashbacks to his fight with Dushyant and Gulaal's trying to stop him, Paan Baa's saying that Gulaal will not stay in this house, and Mota Bha's saying that Gulaal will stay here as punishment. He has tears, a drop falls on Gulaal's cheek and he softly wipes it away feeling bad at the storm he brought in Gulaal's life. He sits on the floor besides her and cries asking her for forgiveness, she was right about his anger and childishness that have become a cause of sadness, had he not said these things in anger this day would not have come, he promises her that he will support her every step of the way, always.
Precap: Paan Baa tells Gulaal that only a few days are left before her and Kesar's deeyarvattu break, but she will get neither the right of a daughter-in-law nor love. Paan Baa says this very wickedly - I sooo miss the old Paan Baa, she was such an amazing actress. This new one feels like she hates Gulaal and was looking for an excuse to treat her badly rather than being hurt about her hiding about Vasant. This new one either looks constipated or wicked. Gulaal has tears in her eyes. Saru is shocked since she didn't know about the deeyarvattu's breaking.
