Gulaal says, " Aisa kuch ho jaye ki jaise mujhe yahaan se jaana hi na pade.. Kesar says.. It is only possible if you fall in love with me.. Ki tujhe mujhse pyaar ho jaaye. ".. WOW..

What a super fantastic dialogue by Kesar !!!!... She was literally shocked when Kesar uttered these words. And what a superb transformation in Gulaal, she almost confessed that she doesnt want to leave the house. So I feel, it indirectly relates that Gulaal does love Kesar or has almost realised her feelings that she has for Kesar and she doesnt want to leave Kesar. Yeah.. Gulaal is one complicated women who will be brought on right path only by Kesar. All that she has said to Kesar today was a super impact of Kesar himself.

Kesar did make the right use of the chance he got. He just uttered on the spot.. then and there... this is what was expected... way to go Kesar. When he heard Gulaal saying such a thing, Kesar was a bit puzzled on seeing such a transformation in Gulaal and since he understands her more than anyone else, he just wanted to grab the chance of telling her once again... He paused for a while and with a ray of hope that brightened his face, uttered the words with fervour "... Ki tujhe mujhse pyaar ho jaaye"... that was a kodak moment indeed.

Iam eagerly waiting for tomorrow's episode.. I hope I get to see yet another brilliant episode.

Main aa gayiii ! (Sorry to chori your liner Srush, but nothing else sounds half as cool to announce my arrival 😆 )

Sooon my song of the day is Making Love Out Of Nothing At All... (inspires the title for my own post) and the last scene today echoed these lyrics from the song:

The beating of my heart is a drum and it's lost and it's looking for a rhythm like you...!

I just loved the way the opening and closeing GK scenes were written today - not that I've ever not loved the writing of their scenes - but today was one of those long time to be remembered epic kind! As I said in my thread - the opening scene was all about Gulaal and her paradoxical approach to the vrat issue! In the span of that single scene she said A and B sets of statements, where A and B were polar opposite claims. She was doing the vrat for SD and Giga and MB and family sake - but she was doing it for her own dharam. She was his wife, and he was her husband till they broke the DV - but they were only pretending this bond in general for SD's convenience. And ofc, technically they were only friends. She went round and round in circles and the only sound statement she said in the entire scene was about the DV having been her choice once upon a time and how its consequences were hers to bear. Yes Gulaal - kudos to you , for finally coming around to that revelation, even is it's not so distinct in her head yet... the fact that she words it, signifies her having thought it out at some level!

The closing GK scene - if nothing else, genuinely absolves Gulaal of her complicated circle talks in the morning. The moment she admits she doesn't have answers, she doesn't know the answers even when she seeks them out... you know exactly what she's going through! She's played the ostrich card for so damn long now - a freaking decade plus - that coming around to being honest with herself, not to mention with Kesar of all the people - is taking mammoth steps. And there is just oh so much to untangle in her web of wrongly self interpreted ideas and thoughts - she's only human, and it can only be so much she starts to sort and understand with time. But Kesar - who has been to warped by her deluded statements all day - finally snaps to realization the moment she makes her miracle wish! Even though he's no where closer to recognizing the coming of that statement as a sign of the inception of her love for him - he can definitely see and tell her the answer she's looking for - however impossible and improbable he deems it to be. And so he tells her the answer. Again, like I said on my own thread - I really like how the writing in this scene makes Kesar tell her loving him and not accepting him as a husband is the cure to her problem! The fact that they distinguish between those circumstances is commendable! And exactly what Nur and you were talking about yesterday - about Gulaal not just accepting Kesar because he loves her and he would make her happy - but because both the love and the need is equal and mutual. The fact that he tells her she must fall in love with him, sets that fact straight - and so simply! 👏

Brilliant writing like you said Reemz - the CVs never fail our expectations, do they?! What a week this is turning out to be - after the lull of Monday, and barely passing Tuesday!

Yeh it was an indirect confession on some level. Now she feels at home again and it's only due to Kesar!

Kesar is so sure that Gulaal would never fall in love with him but Gulaal's riddles got him thinking again. We all know that Kesar understands Gulaal's heart more than anyone but her recent behaviour is confusing him which is why he had to confront her. I wonder how he will finish his dialogue off...

Welcome welcome!😛

In that first scene Gulaal gave so many different reasons in one go that it's impossible for anyone to understand what her real reason is. If she can't break MB's heart now then why did she not listen to him before when he told her to break the DV?! Or why did she leave the house when neither PB nor MB wanted her to.

I was glad to see her taking responsibility of the circumstances too 👏 Kesar on the other hand was so concerned about Gulaal doing the vrat out of compulsion that it hurts him to see her like this. The whole point of these 3 months was to give her unlimited amount of happiness without any pressures but little does he know that even doing this vrat will give Gulaal some peace because it's something she WANTS to do.

The fact that she told him about her vulnerability of not knowing what to do clearly shows how much she has come to depend on him.

Well I guess when she claimed she is his patni then that automatically covers that he is her pati too 😳

I don't see any rush at all tbh. GK conversations are very precise and too the point and by the end of each scene their relationship has developed on to another level.

She had told Kesar that because of him, she no longer feels the warmth of the house as his irrational behaviour took away the attachment she felt. Today she admitted that she doesn't want to leave. The day she returned, she came as Kesar's wife and now she feels at home only because of him not the family. That feeling of leaving something precious behind is due to him not anyone else. Does she realise that? Helll nooo!

This is where both Gulaal and Kesar are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Gulaal always talks in riddles, she herself doesn't realise the deep meaning behind her words where as Kesar is straight to the point ... 'Tujhe mujhse pyar ho jaaye'. That is the truth and yet again it was another wake up call for her because till someone doesn't point out her emotions, she will not get IT in that complicated mind of hers. No words can force her to fall in love but Gulaal needs to have these shockers because if it were up to her she would continue with this friendship tag without realising that this is love. No-one has ever told her that falling in love with Kesar is an option.

I'm pretty sure Kesar will say something like '...but that won't happen.' He has no hope anyway but it will leave Gulaal wondering.

Brilliant writing!👏

Hey Reemz 😳😊
Was such a KG episode yesterday, in terms of the first scene and the last scene - spoke alot
We all know that to make Gulaal do something, it has to be her choice - and she will give it her 100% atleast, coz she made the chioce/decision and this is where this vrat comes in, she ran through in her mind, she will do it - for herself, for everybody
I do think Kesar is hurt, is that word i think maybe irritated to some extent in terms of why the hell is she doing this (as we saw his flashbacks), coz he has seen how these rituals and things makes her feel uncomfortable and its a pressure, so to have Gulaal say - i dont mind it, i am gonna do it, patni dharam, it pricks Kesar coz these are the things in the past she throwed back in a way, so he out there trying to reason with her you dont have to do this, we can just tell her...
Gulaal has never wanted to leave this house, ever since the day she entered it way back 10 yrs ago, even when she did leave, it was a hard decsion for her but right one to her from her pov, and today as she laid out her one ultimate wish, not wanting to leave the way she said it, the truth she laid, wishing something would happen to make her not leave - you just knew Gulaal's soul is this home, its back with her the very one she accused Kesar of taking from her - both her and Kesar have brought it back,
I loved how Kesar laid out the simple one liner to her (we had to have triple shots of Gulaal turning around to Kesar in 3 different angles 😆), not to hurt her or expect anything - (he knows full well that Gulaal does suffer in her own way trying to keep this family intact and keeping everyone happy), but laid it out as the one option out aloud - the only thing that will be mumkin for what she wishes is for her to accept him and that means to fall in love with him, and i do like that he didnt say accept me as a pati - coz really hearing the pati jhaap for 24x7, aint gonna make a difference, she's been hearing that for so long😆 - but Falling in love with him is on another level, that he certainly shocked her, i do think Kesar will add something like - but i know that wont ever happen, and thats the only thing that will keep you in this house. make you not want to leave...
I do agree when you say she needs to hear that option of falling in love with him, coz i do think whatever she feels for him and even if and the feelings are progressing, Gulaal is just gonna think its affectionate, coz thats what she has always had, so she will pass it off as that and think she wont ever fall in love again, but now that she has got another eye-opener/statement, Love - to fall in love with him, it might just make her question or dwell on her emotions and what is happening to her along the way
Falling in love is one thing and accepting him as a pati is another thing, and the love has to come first to make journey towards acceptance him as pati - but that is i feel a long way, let them live in love for awhile, when it happens...

LENNIEEE! Where were you?? :( You were being terribly missed.

Wow that quote is SO SO PERFECT! That freedom of thought she feels now is due to Kesar.

SF dragging both of them was really cute. Gulaal leading and confused Kesar at the back 🤣

Kesar knows Gulaal so well but her recent behaviour is throwing him off-balance because neither he nor Gulaal are aware of what is brewing inside her. She has no problem in accepting that she is his wife, she is fine doing all these rituals all of a sudden when Kesar himself has seen her discomfort previously.

If he had used the pati card instead of the love card then that would have been somewhat disappointing and not even that shocking seeing as though she already accepts him as her husband for the time being anyway. Kesar-Gulaal are all about the love, not relationships given to them by society which is why that dialogue was WOW in that context. In a way, it was a very BOLD statement...the only way you can be happy is if you fall in love with me. It is as simple as that.
