Jamna says Gulaal alone made the food today and Kesar looks at her smitten but holding back. Gulaal serves everyone, Gulaal asks Kesar if he wants more, he nods yes and she serves him. Kesar finishes and leaves, Gulaal looks on happily. Raman comes there, Dushyant says its nice to see him do this for Talli, he doesn't understand how...Raman interrupts annoyed saying that what does he mean, that Raman doesn't do anything good. The phone rings and Raman steps away, Jamna scolds Dushyant and Sudha joins in. Dushyant says he was kidding. Raman comes and tells Sudha that he will not be able to go to Kunal's place with them because something has come up, everyone is disappointed but Dushyant looks at him distrustfully.
Gulaal is in the kitchen ready to eat when Kesar comes there looking for something. She offers to help, he refuses, she insists and says he also helps her, why can't she help him, he tells her he is not upset with her, his expecting her to help him in everything is not right, he is trying to understand and uphold the boundaries in their relationship, Gulaal says it was her fault, he says her thought was the result of his behavior, if he changes his behavior everything will be fine, he thinks he has a right over her since she has entered the house, and this behavior made her think that he is doing all this to obtain her after 3 months, so he wants to understand their boundaries and staying outside the boundary he wants to think of her happiness so she doesn't misunderstand him. He finds what he was looking for (jaggery) and leaves. Gulaal loos so guilty and sad at causing him so much pain.
Kesar is in his room writing, Gulaal comes there naughtily and plays his musical instrument. Kesar doesn't respond but then smiles because she is playing it out of tune like a kid. He asks why she is playing if she doesn't know, she asks him to teach her and says mischievously whether he won't teach her, he can't say no and plays it for her. Gulaal closes her eyes and sings a bit, Kesar stops playing, Gulaal stops singing and smiles and takes the instrument to play, she plays it exactly like a kid, and after ages I had a glimpse of the young Gulaal. Kesar says he will go back to his work.
Gulaal stops him and says she made a very big mistake, he did everything for her happiness but she misunderstood, he should not change himself because of her, he is good the way he is, he tells her he doesn't know how to behave with her, if he goes back to being himself then he cannot prevent himself from worrying about her at every step, if he tries to keep her happy he forgets his boundaries, instead of being happy she gets annoyed at him. She feels guilty and says he has not crossed any limits, she probably built walls around her, he is right, the error was not in Kesar's thinking but in Gulaal's understanding, she is ready to bear all punishment but he should revert to the old Kesar. Kesar looks at her as if he can never punish her, how can she even say such a thing. He tells her he doesn't know how to behave with her, she says she knows, he should be like a friend, he was right, she doesn't want to move on, but now she does want to move on. Saying this Gulaal smiles and extends her hand in friendship, Kesar hesitates, Gulaal continues and he looks at her with a side smile and comes around, he takes her hand in his.
Talli comes there and sees both holding hands and feels jealous, while Kesar and Gulaal look at each other and smile. Gulaal notices Talli and asks what she purchased in the market. Kesar sees the gift in Talli's hand and opens it to see a showpiece of a newly married couple dancing. Talli says Kunal gifted it to her, both are shocked, Talli tells them that Raman took her to meet him, Gulaal expresses worry but Kesar asks her to let it be. Talli tells them Kunal cares a lot about her, Kesar teases her a bit.
Kunal calls Talli and asks how she liked his gift, she makes an excuse and hangs up. Kunal mutters that he is worried about his future.
The next day Sudha, Kesar, and Gulaal go to Kunal's place with gifts. Its so strange - how come no elder went? Not even Dushyant? This just seems so very strange. Kunal's parents tell them Kunal is not at home, everyone is shocked and upset and ask how can they carry on the ceremony without Kunal, the parents tell them that they have found another girl for Kunal, Gulaal asks why they didn't say so when Raman called letting them know they would come, the father tells her that the girl's parents agreed after the call. Kesar gets angry and asks if they sent Kunal to the city on purpose so he wouldn't see this behavior, Gulaal pacifies him and apologizes for their insulting Kunal's parents when they had come to see Talli, but Kunal's parents do not budge. Sudha cries and is broken. The parents say there is no reason to break the agreement with the other girl, and they will make Kunal come around.
Precap: Raman tells Dushyant that he understands that Mota Bha has principles but he needs to think of Talli, Dushyant asks what their demand is, Raman says their demand was very high but he convinced them to take only 10 lakhs. Jamna is shocked.
