Kunal and his parents come to see Talli. Mota Bha asks questions, each time Kunal goes to answer when his mother interrupts and speaks for him. She keeps saying that he is their only son, again and again. Its funny because the woman doesn't know English and her husband has to keep correcting her. Kunal is doing MBA and plans to do an internship soon. She tells them that their son agreed to marry whoever they choose. Jamna says they are lucky, nowadays children don't listen to their parents, and side-glances at Dushyant.

Gulaal brings in Talli. Looks like Talli is dressed in ordinary daily clothes - they should have dressed her better. Talli comes there with tea. Sudha praises Talli a lot, Kesar supports her saying that Talli is good in everything, Talli looks at him hurt as if saying if she is so good then why doesn't he like her, Kesar looks so happy with Talli's engagement. Kunal whispers something in his mother's ear, she asks Mota Bha for permission for Kunal to speak with Talli alone. Mota Bha refuses but Raman convinces him, Gulaal says she will go with Talli and he agrees.

Talli and Kunal are on the terrace, Gulaal is with her friends close-by, Talli keeps looking at her wanting her to come there. Talli stands quietly and awkwardly. Kunal tries to make conversation but she doesn't respond. He tells her that his problem is that he talks first and then thinks, he asks her if she doesn't like him at all and tries to tease her, he then gives an example of how badly he did in an exam where he had to make a model and he uses one tyre from a car and the other from a scooter to make a bullock-cart, but marriage is like that, both tyres have to match else marriage cannot succeed. He seems silly with his non-stop talking and joking but he is quite mature with his talks, and indirectly explained a lot to Talli. He is PERFECT for her in a way Kesar can never be, Kesar walks all over her unknowingly but Kunal will never do that and love her for who she is. I think if Gulaal sees how happy Talli is she may start questioning her decisions which is good.

Kunal's parents ask about Talli's marriage and looking at Kesar the mother asks if this is the same Kesar whom Talli almost married. Sudha looks at Kesar angrily when Kesar says that people have the habit of talking but whatever happened was his fault the brunt of which Talli is bearing, people can talk behind their back but nobody can say anything to Talli's face.

At the same time Kunal is talking to Talli. He points a finger and says what happened, nothing, people can point fingers but nothing can change, Talli's mind is still innocent, what happened to her was an incident, not her character, incidents pass but character doesn't change, and he cares about her heart not incidents. He then quotes a song to her indicating that Sita was also insulted unnecessarily. Talli is trying hard to control her tears. He quotes another romantic song meaning that someone asked the moon if it has seen a better looking than his lover, the moon responded no, then softly the moon said that the moon can have a stain but not Talli. Talli starts weeping uncontrollably. This is the first time I felt sorry for Talli. She is such a sweet innocent girl, she has been hurt so deeply yet she is trying hard to move on, here is someone who truly understands her and says such nice things to her, someone she doesn't know but he is clearly trying to make her feel better. Kunal feels bad and calls Gulaal, he tries to console her saying he was kidding, Gulaal's friends take her inside and Kunal goes back downstairs.

Kunal's mother says that given Talli's past it will not be easy to find a guy for her. But a heavy dowry can help overcome their pain from people's talks about Talli's past. Everyone is shocked and angry.

Precap: Mota Bha says his daughter will not go to her home, Kunal's mother says that Talli is not their daughter, she is an orphan, that is why all this happened to her, how can they believe that nothing is wrong with her, they are doing her a favor by taking a rejected girl into their house. Kunal yells out to his mother.
