^Are we watching the same show arti 😕 Recently there have been subtle changes to her. They're not going to happen overnight but something is happening. The 3 month period has just begun and you can tell that Kesar is affecting her in a different manner.

Jzee: Totally agree with you. Kesar needed that shock factor to make him understand that the way he's going about trying to get Gulaal is wrong. Did people expect the transformation to be dragged? Kesar has always been impulsive. After Talli's little role-play, Kesar understood how forcing Gulaal to love him is WRONG! If Talli can't make him love her then how can he expect Gulaal to do the same?

Kesar has said it more than once. He is not expecting anything back from Gulaal anymore but that won't stop him from wanting to keep her happy. It's the least he can do!

Echo you Reemz . Kesar has actually realized that what he was fighting for all this time, more than Gulaal's 'love' and wifely sense was her presence, and what he wants to give her more than anything, is the assurance and protection of his presence. It's what his love is about. Even when he thinks of Gulaal as his wife - so far, it's only like that. And that's why he has stopped seeking back from her. He has realized he really wasn't seeking from her, what he made it look like. He wanted her to accept him in her life - period. He wants to be her support and her reason for revival, and even if it stems from 'love', it doesn't need him to be a husband to her - at this point anyway.

And that's why Kesar is the way he has been last couple days. From where I see it (and yes, this is guesswork of course, we can only conjecture about their future) Gulaal is slowly going to seep into this ease of having Kesar around, and of having him do things for her that no one else has, and accepting them - because now he's not doing them as a husband, and the weight of that stance is not suffocating her. We've seen her get the wall quickly back in place everytime she gets foreboding of Kesar the adult, but because Kesar is quite clear he's not seeking from her - she will grow over that edge too - eventually in fact, I see this developing into a pressing introspection of her own. She will have to come to the point where she questions what is Kesar's presence in her life now - and how has it managed to revive what she worked so diligently on losing. And then, I suppose - we'll see action?! LOL! Yeh, action is the right word.

Just my guess on how this can go - for just now, I'm excited to see some Friday fun! With Champa, chottiyan, and GK (SBS segement on Gulaal's shock was hilarious, btw!)

You say it better than I do :P Gulaal will get used to having Kesar around her and making small/big gestures which make her re-evaluate her feelings. This is the phase where Gulaal will change for the better, it's not even a speculation...its going to happen! Kesar will slowly creep in and take her loneliness away.

The Champa, chotiya angle is beautiful and such an unique way to slowly start getting the real Gulaal back.

JZee and Reemz, couldnt agree, i am more or less seeing the same thing, and have the some thoughts, how i see it going and as you say Reemz - its going to happen, it has to...
And the end of it, like you say she will have to question what Kesar actually means to her and his presence in her life - each step will make her feelings progress naturally as you say re-evalute, but the feelings will grow it has to and the natural factor was very much needed for that to happen
Starting from Gulaal's childhood angle is a great start - its like starting from scratch as i said in a way
I very much agree that Kesar expects nothing, but just that place he has now and seeing and bringing happiness to Gulaal, in little things and so on - gestures and talks as well
Kesar needed to start being everything else then forcing the pati angle - and yes it was needed that Kesar saw Gulaal pov and coz it was the actual reality (as i said way before)which will give him answers and some solutions as well, along the way and he can understand and work on...

JZee let me close this discussion with you and your tag-team 😊 by narrating this anecdote:

There were some friends standing and chatting when they saw a man at a distance walking towards them and he was limping.
First said: I think he has some problem with his hip bone.
Second said: Nope, I think its his Sciatica.. touching his back side. It hurts like hell.
Third says: Well it could be his thigh bone. You can put weight on your leg, so you limp.
Fourth: you all are wrong!, its his knee and he is suffering from Arthritis. My mom has it, she limps
Fifth said: Nope its his heel. It really hurts when your heel pains.
Meanwhile the limping man reached near them, they all rushed towards him to ask whats wrong.

The limping man stopped and looked at his left foot and said: Meri chappal tooti hui hai.

😉 thanks. folks!

I'm sorry but you sound very personal both these places. For some reason I saw most debates on this forum - irrespective of conflicting opinions - objective enough to actually disagree while discussing. But like your anecdote very well explains, first impressions are not always last.

Point taken. I'll spare us both hence onward.

best,
JZee

Please don't get me wrong here.. Let me explain. My both comments are based on your line
In the end, I think we all are guessing. Only the CVs know what's happening! 😃

I underlined guess in the same context that I am not sure whether you understood my point of view.

The anecdote also echoes the same. We all are giving our opinions through guess work and assumptions whereas the limping man is actually the CV who knows what is he up to.
I hope you are not offended by this. Or should I say I am sorry if I offended you. 😊
