Written Update June 30, 2011

Kesar flashbacks to Talli's words about whether he wants to gain or lose Gulaal's love, then Gulaal's words about his loving himself and wanting a wife to live with him in his room. He does this while riding his bike. It is raining and late, Talli is waiting for Talli, Sudha grumbles, Jamna worries that Kesar must have done something. Gulaal comes there. Sudha continues grumbling about Kesar and refuses to let Ramna go find him. Dushyant comes home and says that he looked everywhere but couldn't find Kesar. Talli says there is one place he could be at, he used to go there as a kid whenever he was angry. Dushyant takes her with him. The light goes out and Jamna says that something bad is about to happen. What logic is this, if the light goes out something bad is in store. In India light constantly goes out during weekends to save electricity, clearly something bad has to happen each time. Gulaal looks scared and worried about Kesar.

Talli takes Dushyant to some place and they yell out looking for Kesar. Talli suddenly sees him and runs to him, Kesar is sitting in the rain shivering badly, Talli sees that he has fever, Dushyant asks him to come home, Kesar refuses saying that he will not go to that house, everyone blames him, Talli and Dushyant persuade him, he refuses, they forcibly take him and leave Kesar's bike behind.

Dushyant puts Kesar to bed and covers him. Jamna thanks God that Dushyant found him on time. Looks like Jamna truly cares about Kesar, sometimes her expressions give that away. Even though she was so cruel to him, he is the only one other than her who speak their minds in the house regardless of what others think. I always remember he statement that feeding Kesar they have made him into a buffalo (yeh Kesuda ko khila khilake bhesuda bana diya hai. She looks at Gulaal and tells her that her behavior brought Kesar to this state, Gulaal says that it is possible that his behavior put him in this situation. Jamna gets angry, Dushyant calms her down and asks her to rest. Raman glares at Gulaal on his way out.

Gulaal waits near the window and flashbacks to Kesar's taking care of her when she was drowning, and then to his declaration of loving her, then his complaining to the panchayat. Talli tries to go to Kesar, Sudha refuses to let her go saying that the more Talli sees Kesar the more she will be attracted to him, she cannot see her suffer, she cannot understand how Talli's mind can be so weak for someone who caused her so much pain, Gulaal and Kesar have been so bad yet she is thinking of them. Talli defends Gulaal asking what is her fault, she didn't know that Kesar cares about her. Sudha tells her that Gulaal must have known everything and she is being a hypocrite, Talli says had Gulaal known she would have never let her marry him, and whatever Kesar did she can never forget, but she still she cannot stop loving him, this will always be her weak point, not loving Kesar is not under her control. Sudha tells her that Kesar will never be hers, Talli says crying that she knows that but she can always love him and doesn't want anything in return, she just wants permission to love him all her life.

Kesar wakes up and sees Gulaal sleeping at the window sill, he covers her with his blanket and looks at her lovingly, and goes back to bed all sick, smiling and looking at Gulaal. Paan Baa and Mota Bha have totally disappeared, and have no idea what is going on. They probably hiked up their fees. Kesar dreams of a smiling Gulaal, and when he opens his eyes in the morning he sees Talli near the window. Talli gives him medicine, Gulaal comes in with a bowl and asks Talli to put the cold compress on Kesar's forehead and gives her the bowl in her hand, Kesar asks Gulaal if she will not apply it to him. Gulaal says she is busy, he refuses to apply it and says that he doesn't need anyone or anything, he asks them to leave. Gulaal gets angry and tells him that what does he want to prove, that he can make her life difficult, everyone is blaming her for his plight and now he wants their blames to be double by refusing to take care. She yells at him asking what is his intention, that she should live suffocated, is he not happy that she is living like that now. Talli is embarrassed. Gulaal asks Talli to leave since Kesar wants to be alone, Gulaal has borne so many blames, one more won't hurt. Kesar asks Talli to apply the compress, Talli does his bidding.

Gulaal is sitting outside the house on the steps lost in thought. Dushyant comes there and tells her that the panchayat's decision has ruined her life, he is responsible for this, and he keeps feeling that he made the wrong decision... Gulaal says no, he should not hold himself responsible, this is not the panchayat but her fate's decision. Dushyant says if things were under his control he would never force her to live like Kesar's wife... Gulaal says she has work and leaves. Raman overhears this and says he loves Gulaal even today. Dushyant denies it, Raman asks why he cares about Gulaal even today if he doesn't love her, Dushyant says because Gulaal is a part of this family and has sacrificed all her wishes for the family, had she not been there the house would have broken. Ramna says she did this only because she had no other place to go, despite being a widow the family accepted her. Dushyant asks Raman how he can say such petty things about Gulaal. Raman says that he should stop thinking of her all the time, she has made his life hollow. Dushyant refuses to discuss it further. Raman tells Dushyant that his condition is clear, Gulaal has made his life hollow, Kesar's life is in shambles, and she ate Vasant... Dushyant interrupts yelling his name. Raman tells him that he is fighting with his older brother for that woman who never thought of Dushyant to be worthy of her. Dushyant is furious. Dushyant is a very good actor - I wish he had more of a variation and role to play other than being Gulaal's puppet.

Precap: Gulaal tells Kesar that he asked for breakfast she sent it for him, if he needs anything else he should call her, and leaves. Gulaal says this so coldly, as if she has returned and will make sure that she does everything in her power to make Kesar pay for bringing her back against her wish. And this was the same woman who wanted Kesar to MARRY, MARRY someone he didn't love for life. What a hypocrite - Sudha is correct. Kesar says that he too will remain stubborn, he will not eat till Gulaal feeds him with her own hands. Gulaal glares at Jamna and says that if Kesar wants to eat it is his will, Gulaal cannot break morsel by morsel and put it in his mouth. Jamna is shocked, Kesar is hurt and shocked.

I had Star Plus and hand to cancel due to the high cost in the U.S. and don't speak Hindi and there are no subtitle videos online, I would never know what was going on with the show without you! Thanks again! ⭐️
