Some thoughts and doubts...

I am not going to stick into a particular topic as I've doubts and confusions regarding many

1. Why Gulaal carries a photo of Vasanth to where ever she goes?

I know that Gulaal loved Vasanth with her heart and soul; but my doubt is if Vasanth is so embedded within her then what is the need of a material like photo for 24*7,she can talk to him and remember him even without a lifeless material like a framed image which often reminds you that your loved one is no more!
I was thinking that what if all those photos are taken away or destroyed, it seems as if she herself needs an assurance of his presence that too through his photo which symbolizes his technical presence.

2. Why Kesar is tagged as an immature boy?

In my opinion all these deeds of Kesar is not because that he is immature or because he is still a boy. Even the most mature and practical person may also behave as Kesar did when he finds more weak and helpless and esp when there is no one to help, support and guide him.
Fortunately or unfortunately Gulaal is the person who can balance and shatter him at the same time.
Kesar was shocked to see Gulaal in his room, not bcoz that he didnt understand the actual relation that they share but for that he knows very well than her that she is not going to accept this relation any time soon and he was disgusted of the thought that his love was misinterpreted and degraded to a mere material thing that too by his Gulaal.

Apart from this Kesar is a man of substance, moreover a very natural human being unlike other typical hero images. He is straight forward and has enough courage to face the consequences of his straight forwardness and the guts to admit his mistakes, where Gulaal often fails. I think these can be seen as the signs of maturity. All these together is what makes him he the Kesar.
The only mistake he committed, or the immature side of his was forcing Gulaal to return. But again that would not have happened if someone was ready to listen to and support him.

3. Gulaal and Kesar?

She has to realise that how much he values her and that his love is unconditional. Atleast she can respect and accept/understand his love even if she cannot reciprocate it in the current mental state.

Waiting for your valuable comments😊

We've all been saying how Kesar is still a boy and needs t grow up - which is true on many accounts; but like you say here, and is evident from the recent episodes, Kesar is far more man, than Gulaal has ever credited him to be, when it comes to facing up the consequences of his doing. Even with his right intentions he doesn't think through entire matters, comes to hasty conclusions, takes impulsive drastic steps to implement, and doesn't actually redeem his mistakes the right way - but fact still is, he admits to making the mistakes he has, and does do whatever he understands to undo damages. He needs a guidance (and only from Gulaal) to approach matters correctly, and fix the error of his ways; but Gulaal needs to learn from him, calling a spade a spade. He's not the retrieving inside of his shell shying away from the questions and accusing eyes of anyone - including Gulaal. And he's certainly not the one who's fooling himself about his own words and convictions.

While Kesar has growing up to do with regard to handling situations and mistakes, Gulaal has a long way to go, to become honest to herself - if no one else.

Great post btw 👏

Yeah..bang on..this point...generally any man...at least after 18 knows what a marriage relationship..means...yes she misunderstood him...or purposefully wants to misinterpret his intentions..n wants to make him guilt...here Gulaal...is behaving with immaturity..not kesar.
Great post...👏👏👏...Excellent points...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kesar is not IMMATURE...he is just BITTER!!!
*Pallo takes in deep breaths*
He was sent away to a boarding skool...away from his dearest ones...he has tossed and turned in his sleep for 10 years thinking the Gulaal, whom he had worshiped had wronged Vasanth Bha!
He comes back and feels that pull towards Gulaal...wants to snap it off coz he believes her to be wrong...
He confronts her about it...
She firmly says that she did it all for "GREATER GOOD" (Ewww...I hate the word!)
He feels his resentment has exhausted...and only his undiscovered love remains...

And when he wants to go back to that "SPECIAL-BOND" he shared with Gulaal...whr he didn't have to share her with anyone else...we call him immature!!!
Nah! Its just his "ache" to make up for the lost tym...

And his stay in the boarding skool has molded most of him...He is independent...He can handle himself...He isn't afraid to say what he wants...and he questions openly...

NEIL enacts this KESAR unbelievably well!

To people it seem that he is very immature...but it isn't...Its just his attempt to have things back as they were...

And if neone feels dat his love is still like a "12yr" old's...THEN...I've HEARD SUMWHR...Dat a CHILDLIKE (READ CAREFULLY: Child like...not Child's) LOVE IS THE MOST PURE AND UNSULLIED! Its the highest form of love ever!!!

(Excuse me!!! Am not saying he loves Gulaal like his mom...*Puke* Am just saying that while his love is innocent and pure...I wonder why ppl mistake it for IMMATURITY?)

*Pallo drumming her fingers on the table*
*I'm eagerly waiting for him to unleash his passion*

So I just hope ppl quit calling KESAR immature...
VOLUNTARY INNOCENCE and IMMATURITY ain't synonyms according to me!

(And yeah...neone having ne questions abt Kesar's character development in his boarding skool...CONTACT ME! I've outdone Kesar in da boarding skool arena...I have a straight 12 years in ma pouch...He missed by two years!! So yeah...😛)

We've all been saying how Kesar is still a boy and needs t grow up - which is true on many accounts;

Yes, but all these happen just because of Gulaal's absence and it is making him mad like anything as if he is struggling for his own existence. Now he has regained his mental balance, no matter how much denial he is going to get from Gulaal's side , he has got his senses back and they have tried to show this difference in Kesar by showing his unshaved face then and shaved face now (I think).

Now he shall stop wandering around her, proclaiming his love for her every now and then and thus give her some space and time to come in to terms with the facts and to equally value Kesar and his love for her in the true senses, as he himself promised her that he will stay away from her and he is trying hard to do so.
I think this time Kesar has taken a right step. What do you think?
By the way thank you so much for replying.😳

This line, right here...This is why most people who watch this show, are pissed off with Gulaal right now. Coz she doesn't respect his feelings or even give him the right as a human being to feel what he feels. She can feel, Talli can feel, the next door neighbour can feel...But Kesar, NOPE! 😡

Everyone talks about Kesar's reaction to Gulaal's "proposal."

But I don't think Gulaal really thought Kesar would take her up on her "offer." I think Gulaal's reason for being in Kesar's room, other than the bigger outside reasons that she has come back as his wife, had a bit of "you wanted this, you've got this" sort of revenge.

With Dushyant, she seemed ready to accept the rape, and was surprised when she heard him leaving.

With Kesar, she was angrily talking and lashing out. In no way did she look like she was expecting him to actually go through with it. Then again, Kesar stopped her in mid-speech.

Kesar has just lost it - all his anger, actions, statements, and emotions are all leading to that fact.

Maturity teaches one to have one's emotions under control. If Kesar fails to do so, he will be called immature, which is obvious. Yes, you may say that he is seriously griefstricken, but that does not change the fact that he is acting up LIKE A KID.
So now that he got Gulaal in his room, is he ready to live up to his relationship? Hell NO. He calls this "chhee"!!! So, according to this guy he loves Gulaal but only wanted her in the house and NOT TO ESTABLISH A PHYSICAL RELATIONSHIP? Well then Gulaal was happily living in that house before and would've continued to do so if he married Talli, so why all this drama then?
The fact is, Kesar does not know what he wants.
As for the picture of Vasant comment, most everyone I know in this world carries a picture of the person they love or loved. People take pictures for MEMORIES and that's what the pictures provide long after the person is gone. Gulaal hangs on to Vasant's picture because that's all she has got of Vasant. She never had a closure regarding Vasant. His body was never found. He was just gone one moment - just like that! Of course she will hang on to the picture! Anyone else would do the same thing. Gulaal had noone to share her grief with. Kesar was too young to understand her, Dushyant was out to get her, the parents-in-law were too frief-stricken themselves to be reminded of Vasant all the time by Gulaal, Sudha and Jamna Kaki were obnoxious and cruel, so all Gulaal had was the picture to talk to and share her feelings with. I can totally relate to that.
Grief is hard to fathom for those who never experienced it. It takes MATURITY to understand complex human emotions and KESAR certainly lacks that.
