Background-

Gulaal was claimed by vasant at the age of 18. They were married & happily lived there life for 4 months until he was murdered by no other the his cousin dushyant! Purely because he had strong attraction towards gulaal.

Gulaal found the truth out but failed to tell the family for the sake of vasants wada. His dream. His dream was to see his family happy. Gulaal being the badi bhu she took the responsibility... & one by one with time she changed & brought everyone in to positive path even dusant.

As the time went by the pressure of marriage & becoming a wedo at the age of 18 started to kick in from the society. Specially as there family is very well known in the village... Dushant takes his chance & offers his hand! Gulaal refuges. Specially knowing that he murdered her husband.

Kesar vasants younger brother. Age 12! He was best friend & always a good brother of vashant. He loved him like a son & after marriage gulaal always looked after him like a friend. A guardian! All three were very close in the family! Specially as gulaal & kesar had only 6 years gap. He always looked up to her for everything.

As the pressure of gulaals remarriage started to kick in, circumstances forces gulaals 2nd marriage with kesar. Gulaal felt safe as she was safe from dushant! & she can keep her self way from the world in memory of vashant! Everyone knew how gulaal looks after kesar in a motherly, friendly protective way... No one bothered to pressurize anything after that... As gulaal was safe with vashants memory...

Her pain only came out in the middle of the night. When everyone was in sleep. No one to here her cry! After death of vashant kesar always staid with gulaal... Half in fear & half in pain of losing his brother. Gulaal & kesars bond grew stronger in a guardian way. She never looked at him as her husband. She still treated him like the way vashant used to.
Taking care of his study. His eating... His friend. Specially talli! Talli was madly in love with kesar. Gulaal decided to talk to her mother in law about there marriage when they grow up! Her mother in law didn't approve or her father in law... Restrict they took gulaals & kesars marriage very seriously... But gulaal always argued back... & after that no one bothered... Just let them live with there happy relationship... But somewhere everyone was still scared of gulaals loneliness.

One day kesar accidentally finds the truth out about dusant killing his brother! Not knowing the reason for gulaals forgiveness a strong hatred started to grow within him!... As the time went by he only misunderstood both... Confused, angry... It started to show in his act! Gulaal started to become worried & spoke to her father in law to send him way to boarding school as the situation was only getting wars & everyone was confused why he started to become like that! One day deshant & gulaal was talking about kesars weird behavior which kesar didn't like at all. & shouted out "why you talking to my wife?" something shocked gulaal as well! She never treated him like that at all! But the hatred in kesar was only growing stronger thinking gulaal maybe have something to do with this!

Eventually kesar was send to boarding school...

After 10 years...

Gulaal wrote letter after letter to kesar. He never replied. He wrote them but never post. He was angry at her. Angry about why she supported dushant! If she loved his brother allot then why she never confessed & gave his murderer the punishment while everyone in the family thought he was angry because he was send way. Gulaal came to visit him many time... As a motherly way & mostly from a friendly way! She was well mature then her age! Never thought about kesar in that way while him... He always used to hide to look at her when she came & visit him! But he refuges to show his face. A strong feeling started to grow with in him. For his gulaal. He knew well they were married & somewhere also accepting that! But for gulaal it's nothing! That marriage count as nothing at all! She was more worried about fixing his marriage to talli! Kesars best friend. His close friend...
While kesar already thinking about taking his gulaals relationship... Yet there was strong hatred towards her... Specially when he see her with dushant. His brother & gulaals husbands murderer! He never understood why she forgave him...




PART 1

Kesar "what do you think? I will let talli live happily with me!" the word was bitter. His eyes, spitting fire. The background wedding celebration was on, while in the Silent of there own torment both were lost. "what do you think! I will let your little dream come true this soon!" there was certain confidence like he have trapped gulaal in every possible way. Blocking the door. She did not like the look. She did not like forcefully hold. It brought out tears in her eyes... & with her tear it brought out his. How could he possibly see the pain in her eyes... She is his wife... Her tear nearly brought his emotion out but the anger took control. "think again gulaal! Think again!... From today on... You will regret, regret every second with that decision! Regret every moment that you have spend to convince talli that she is in love with me.."
Gulaal could barely utter a word. Her heart aeked. Begging, trying to convince her self it's a lie. It's simply a lie. Nothing els. "you are joking... Please say kesar, you are joking." she pleads. Hoping it's a lie. Kesar could not explain how much he liked this helpless gulaal. How much he wanted to take control... But not like this... Not ever like this... Not even in his dream. "shadi mubaraq!" a single tear crawled down his eyes. He walked off... Gulaal in shock drops the thali.

She shivered to step out to see Tallis happy face. How much she seems to enjoy this! & there was kesar. She could bare not look at him. His eyes killed her on the spot. There was almost a fear, unexplainable fear crept up inside her. She drank her saliva. Looking everywhere then his eyes. Suda came running... "kitni kush hi ae do no!... hope no bad eyes fall on them" she smiles. Gulaal gives her a forceful smile...
Kesar "najar toh lag giy bhabhiAnd she is right in front of you!" his eyes did not leave any chance of tan tuning gulaal. Every second, every moment...

She walks way in fear of her truth. What if he really, she dare not look...

Gulaal runs in her bedroom with the fear. Her world was spinning. She shivered. Suddenly her door bang opens. It was no other then kesar. Her pleading eyes did nit melt kesar today. He could read them like a open book.
Kesar "you have no right on me gulaal." he smirks, "don't you think it's time for you to show your little panic."
Gulaal "why are you doing this?" she pleaded "please don't! I beg you!" another drop of tear rolled down her eyes. "I will do everything you want me to, I beg you please don't hurt her. I agree it's my fault, I agree that I have shown her wrong dream, gave her wrong hope, please don't!" those words instantly melt kesar heart, but still somewhere he knew it was nit enough! Not enough to pit his right on her. Not enough at all...
Both looked at one another eyes.. In great concentration, gulaal pleading while kesar demanding. "I think it's to late to change everything! I will surly teach you a big lesson to never ever take any decision about anyone's life." he walks way. Leaving shocking gulaal. But before he exits, he stops, "actually there is a way!" he smirks.. Gulaal looked at him in confusion.. "why don't we re merry!" his lips did not hesitate to speak those word while her ear could not believe him, "marry me!"

The confession of kesar love did not go well, he only found gulaal in more dilemma.

Next day, kesar could barely wake his body up from the bed. Headache. Panba ran in wrongly. She was worried about her son. Gulaal is a future which she could not see any hope at all. Her love for vashant still the same. She could never possibly hive his space way, & that to this easily.
Panba "did you speak to gulaal yesterday?" kesar nodes sadly he still remembers those slaps. He dare not say! Specially his confession of love. "hurry & get changed. Come downstair for breakfast." she brushes his hair back. Geet gives another comfortable smile.

Gulaal did not show her face at all. She was angry, furious at each one of the house Member along with her self. One step about marriage in order to save her family have left her no where. Accepting this marriage? How can she, he is kesar! Kesar she have look after since young! The word "I love you" was ringing in her head like a bell. She wanted that to stop. She cried, haven't slept all night along. Sitting next to her bed, endless tear dropped from her eyes. She wipes them off when talli walks in.
Talli "everyone is calling you downstairs for breakfast." she half smiles. Come down. Gulaal nodes, nodes a no... "I am not hungry!"
Talli "kuch toh kha le!"
Gulaal "you go! I am not hungry!"
Talli "gulaal..." she was about to say something when suda distrabes her.
Suda "enough talli! Enough of her drama!" gulaal did not say a word, instead she sat there silently. What she to say? She have made this house upside down with in over night...
Suda "if she want to eat! She can come! You come with me!"

Gulaal slowly stood up, made her way to the bathroom.

Table was full, but no gulaal. Kesars eyes looked for her patiently. He have not forgotten last night, in fact he never will. That was the night he have confessed his love to gulaal. He knew how awkward this situation might get, but he needs to spit his word out. He needs to shout out his 10 years of pain of her not being with him. "where is gulaal?" he looked at everyone. The table was filled with mixed feeling. Half sad, half angry, half happy, half could not bare his stand under the same roof. "where is gulaal?" kesar repeats again.
Panba "come & eat something!"
Kesar "I won't eat without gulaal!" he spoke in a stubborn manner.
Panba "kesar!"
Motaba "let him wait for his wife!"
