From past shows we can analyse that further Gulaal tries to stay away from the Kesar, fate brings her even more closer to Kesar.
When she avoided Kesar and his feelings for her by leaving for miaka, yet she was forced to take on Vatsavitri and brought once close to Kesar again.
Secondly, she again pushed Kesar away by the getting him married to Talli, her effort went in vain but rather her relation to Kesar was questioned by him. Now he knows that he is in love with the Gulaal. He will tries his best to keep her in the relation.
Now, Gulaal has taken drastic step to called off diyarvattu through panchayat, i think she will be disappointed again and still will bring even more closer to Kesar to her inconvenience. She will pronounced his wife in front of whole village which she will have to abide in future. She should bear the consequences of step taken years ahead.
Further she tries to pull away from him, further closer fate brings her to Kesar. Her denial is bringing her closer to him.
