But seriously, I can't get over how carefully the character sketch has been retained in this show - really! They've brought in some crazy twists, and yet, the justification is all there - eventually! True genius of a script, if you ask me, coupled with good dialog and good delivery = you've got yourself a show to sell!

Oh did I mention?! I also really like the scene where Kesar crashes into Gulaal's room drunk... to tell her she is his taqleef... I particularly like its transformation in comparison with the first time he comes home drunk =)

And overall, the way the CVs connect and compare scenarios is really good - the tossing of coin, or this getting drunk parallel - it's like they've got the big picture laid out, and it makes me believe, they don't just a scene for the heck (drunk scenes, rain scenes etc. are the popular kind!) and then forget all about it... they're using what they have to accomplish purposes!

Yeh, you get it - thumbs up to the CVs so far... How much I like it right now almost makes me fear they will fall apart any second, eeesh!

@bold: Yeah so far the show has done a very good job of that...each scenario, each scene has had a purpose in moving the story ahead...they haven't added in a typical cliched scenario for the heck of it...We can only hope they continue in that vein and don't fall prey to trite cliches.


I also really liked the scene with drunk Kesar crashing into Gulaal's room and asking her those questions...deffo one of those initial clips that intrigued me more to watch their scenes. Ohhh now I remember...actually Srushti, that FIRST time he came home drunk was the first clip I watched...LOL...funny how I couldn't remember before...yeah that's the scene that got me intrigued...and I was impressed by Neil's acting in that scene too.

what is Startv plus? all videos of star channels on their official site are blocked here. they were available few months ago but now the channel blocked them. even the videos that are uploaded on IF on Star player are blocked. so I just watch it on youtube. some people upload the videos in Starplus HD. is that a new channel or something? 😕 the video is really clear and I guess that u were praising a lot about it but the person who uploads it has their own tag on it. thanks for giving me the crash course on Gulaal. LOL. will read it asap. 😳

It is not a new channel Ritzy...starplus now records its serials on HD..so it is excellent to view...and you dont get starplus tv player?? It is startv website on which all its serials are uploaded...

Star tv player is blocked in the U.S., Srushti...I too am not able to view vids from that site...

Only if someone uploads them in YT can I view the HD ones.
