lol this morning i was actually seeing the old episodes again :D
the show was ALWAYS about kesar and gulaal jodi
seeing the old episodes made me happy because it just assures me that kesar and talli jodi wont work
gulaal and kesar were soulmates! i just hope they start loving each other soon <3
some things i remember from what i've seen this morning:
[1] when raman comes (after vasant & gulaal's marriage had been set, but before the marriage) and they joked that kesar's marriage will be before dushyant's. then kesar asked: "can vasant bha and i marry the same girl?"
[2] kesar and vasant were standing in front of the mirror, fixing themselves. kesar said: "vasant bha im looking good, i think gulaal will like me instead."
vasant: "nah i think gulaal will like me"
kesar: "nope that's impossible"
^hahahahaha the irony ;)
[3]when vasant's baraat was leaving for gulaal's house;
kesar said: "everyone is always talking about vasant, no one cares about me"
someone: "well, why dont you find your own girl to marry, then everyone will talk about you"
kesar: "how can i? vasant bha has stolen the girl i liked!"
^ later on...
kesar sits on the camel with vasant for gulaal's baraat
[4] oh, and after marriage, when gulaal goes away to her maayka for a rasam, kesar insists on going with her.
before leaving, kesar says: "vasant bha, you always keep gulaal with you, away from me. but today, i am taking her away from you"
^ very symbolic because soon after, vasant died. the jeep was slowly driving away with vasant standing there, while gulaal and kesar drove away.
*sigh* looking at the old episodes made me realize that vasant was a really good guy. but still, kesar and gulaal jodi is definitely meant to be. i wish they hadn;t made vasant's character so likeable! lol
but either way, KG jodi should happen. it's too late for vasan't character to come back
