Hiya all,
To those who remember me...😆
Well after a long time the last two episodes were interesting ...and my interest was back in the show until of course I saw the promo😆😆...and well till I saw Talli's so called Tandav Dance😆😆😆
But never mind.
Two things that I loved.
a) Kesar asking Gulaal who gave her the right to decide about his life.
BRAVO Kesar!!👏👏👏...I loved you for saying that. Any individual has a right to his or her life. It is the basic freedom that all humans are entitled to
And no one ...no one...no matter how noble the intentions are has the right to take away another persons right over self.👎🏼
In the race to make Gulaal as a noble and becharii self sacrificing cow...and therefore a typical cluless one track Star Plus heroine👎🏼...the CVs seem to have lost sight of the fact that this is the same Gulaal who always believes in taking her own decisions...be it coming to Talsagra, wanting to run with Vasant or wanting to stay back ...or even now when she decides to abruptly come to her mothers house or when she decides to ignore Kesar
Then if she is so individualistic ...how can Gulaal then apply a totally diffrent standard to Kesar and Talli, by deciding their lives on their behalf...in simple English language this is called double standards!!😲
I have my own issues witrh Kesar being immature and that in the need to teach Gulaal a lesson/ or alternatively to get her... he has forgotten that there are others in his life such as his parents and his sister to whom he owes a responsibility and love and care.
But what he did today at least shows that the lad can stand up for himself and is not ashamed to admit his feelings or his weakneses/ failures👏👏...that he is disturbed is a given...but at least he is trying to do something about it by going after the truth...without playing around with other peoples lives
I only hope that now Kesar does not do something stupid and unwanted...although knowing the rich tradition of Indian television serials...I should probably not hope😆😆😆
b) Flashbacks of Vasant
I am on the fence on this one...as I like Gulaal Kesar as much as I had liked Gulaal Vasant...
But even then...the scene at the vat savitri puja tree where Gulaal remembers Vasant broke my heart...😭😭
Splendid!!!!👏👏👏...the acting by Mansi, the song ...the flashbacks of Vasant and Gulaal in happier days...and the flashback when they accomplished the pinnacle of their struggle...that is discovering a water source.
I actually felt bad that in the race for Channel TRPs ...Gulaal has to romance another man, by going through such a regressive route such as regressive, archaic, exploitative customs...when she is still so much in love with Vasant...because what she shared with Vasant was truly special 😳...
...Any one who has had a first real love ...and then lost it to fate would understand😳😳😳
