I may still accept Gulaal forgiving Dushyant. But never understood her behavior with him, so civil and nice. I have always tried not to get into the story melee. No woman however saintly has the capacity to organise a birthday party for her husband's killer. That would make, not just Kesar, but everyone doubt the relationship that she shares with him.
Dushyant is not a saint that she gets so defensive and she slaps Kesar for just being rude to Dushyant. She very well understands that Kesar has some issues with Dushyant. I would have tried to figure out had she done that when Kesar told about being frustrated of being forced to sit, stand or be like Vasant all the while. had it been for Vasant, I may believe that she cstill cares for her dead husband. But not for Dushyant's sake.
But whatever it may be, Kesar's parents are still alive. She is nobody to slap him for being rude to Dushyant. That's his problem. She can't be doing that. And that too getting defensive for a murderer. She has no authority over Kesar as Bhabhi, friend, guide, philosopher, WIFE, or whatsoever.
NO, THAT WAS TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR.
Kesar should have a life. This would remain the way Gulaal would treat him even if it were to progress into the next phase of their relationship at any point of time. Kesar and Gulaal are meant to be together. But such exaggeration of Gulaal's character and such demeaning of Kesar's character who would never have a say in their relationship downplays their bonding and the bond we viewers develop for them as a couple.
None of us here can appreciate such a behavior from Gulaal and at least I wont appreciate such a vulnerable Kesar. Neil Bhatt is a fantastic actor. Neil would definitely enact the feelings that he is required to emote and that too convincingly. But a vulnerable and crying Kesar as a character would soon lose its shine. Coming to Gulaal, in no way I could relate to her. Many like me won't either. So again, Kesar and Gulaal as a couple would suffer. Or if that is the plan of CVs in not wanting viewers to root for Kesar and Gulaal, they are on the right path.

I so agree with you even if she considers him her responsibility...Young ppl should not be slapped that too in front of the whole family ...even parents dont use the stick approach .Instead of addressing the probs of kesar Gulaal fans his fury ...It is imp to hv a heart to heart convo to resolve issues😕

I'm not going to justify her slapping him but I think Kesar might have crossed the line (we're not sure if he said more). I guess Gulaal still thinks she has that right over him.

I won't say more without seeing the actual episode and I don't think anything will make me not root for K-G! :P Because even as viewers if we see one protagonist act harshly against the other, you still sit there curiously to see how their dynamic changes as a couple. There's that curiosity factor if I make sense i.e. Why did she slap him? What next? How are they going to face each other in the next etc etc

wanna build up on yer sentence Reemz...

Yeah da slap was uncalled for but doesn't mean dat Kes-Gul can have no future together...And am sorry to say but but if Talli-Kesar scenes are gonna be a relief den...we pray they are TALLI's dream sequences and not reality...

Then u get relief and we get Kes-Gul!
😊

But I agree dat I dun get how Gulaal can be sooo forgiving to her husband's killer...he has transformed ...but dat doesn't erase da fact dat he threw Vasanth off the bridge!!! This troubles me a lot too...

But basing Kes-Gul relationship on his one slap ain't gonna work...It had been building up...she saw Kesar's feelings for her on da rise...she was stung by Jamna Kaki's words...she was getting panicky abt Kesar's behaviour...and maybe his words triggered her to give dat slap...

I kno I can't justify her slapping him...and it was wrong...but at tyms we shud realize dat we hurt da ones whom we love the most!

Totally agree with u... forgiving someone is one thing n supporting him always is another !!! Gulaal may have forgiven dushyant but y is she always supporting him ?!! Y is she so so nice towards him 😲, how can she 😲 i really dont understand this thing !! She even goes the other way round n do things to keep Dushyant happy, what nonsense is this... that person took ur love, ur husband away n after forgiving him u r treating him like nobody else in the world is nicer than him... rubbish !!! i seriously dont think that Gulaal's character should have contained this nonsense part... n slapping Kesar for that man 😲 dont have words to express my astonishment.

She thinks that Kesar has gone beyond his limits but what limits have he crossed in the first place? First of all u urself included Kesar in all these things when he was just a small kid of 12 years, 10 long years he was living with this truth that gulaal is his wife n now if he has build up some feelings for her, so its totally natural, y does Gulaal is not thinking from Kesar's point of view now? What about his feelings, his life, his preferences, his priorities? Is he a toy or what that whenever thr was a need he was used n when thr is not, he is just left behind n forced to do something which he is not wishing for 😡...
