So far as I understand Kesar and Gulaal are married. Gulaal in the meantime has promised Talli that she would be married to Kesar. How would this happen? Would this mean that Gulaal and Kesar would divorce or are we talking about a polygamous marriage 😡 with Gulaal in a platonic relationship as the first wife? In a small village like the one depicted how can Talli a unmarrried girl run around so freely with Kesar? Has Talli even considered what would happen to Gulaal if Talli married Kesar.
