Reva's sari is burning. Everyone looks on shocked (like idiots) and pretends as if they want to put it out, but only Dushyant actually does something about it. The fire finally dies out when Dushyant puts it out with his bare hands. Dushyant scolds her. Gulaal asks for forgiveness. Reva runs crying to Paan Baa and hugs her. Yogesh goes to Reva - by the everyone has left - he tells her that his trust in her was too weak and did not see her innocence. Husband and wife relationship is based on trust. He asks for forgiveness. He asks for one more chance, he will not give her a chance to complain. He asks her to marry him. Both cry.
Gulaal's mother thanks God for saving Reva, else she would not have been able to live with the burden. Gulaal asks Dushyant to put his burned hands out and applies medicine. Mota Bha says that Dushyant is improving, he saved Reva's life without caring for his own. He says that he will never forget this his entire life. Reva and Yogesh are getting married. Surilee tells Raman (teasingly) that he should come to her place to get married to her. Raman walks away. Sudha looks on.
Reva is in her room. Paan Baa comes there and gives her some advice and both cry. Mota Bha comes there and has tears in his eyes. He and Reva hug as well. Emotional scene. Gulaal comes there and looks on, and suddenly Kesar arrives as well.
Sudha asks Raman whether he bought a gift for Reva. Raman says it is in the closet. Yogesh's friends hide his shoes, Devika distracts them and her friends take the shoes away. Sudha looks at the gift (jewelry) that Raman bought for Reva and feels happy that it will suit Reva. Surilee overheard Sudha and Raman's conversation and comes there. She asks Sudha for the jewelry. Sudha tells her that they made a deal for Sudha's jewels, not Reva's. Sudha snatches it from Surilee when Surilee tries to walk away with it. Surilee tells her that her life is much better than Sudha's, she knows how to get Raman's love and money, she prefers to live her life than Sudha's. She tells Sudha that she can continue to wear her mangalsutra, because the key to Raman's money and love is in Surilee's hand. Sudha has tears in her eyes. Surilee takes the jewels and says that she will take the jewelry, and if Sudha protests, she knows how to add more light than her brothel (kothe se bhi zyada raunak).
