Dushyant is crying with his head on Mota Bha's lap and says "how will I get Moksha (freedom)". Mota Bha consoles him. Gulaal enters and asks Mota Bha not to get up. She asks Dushyant not to talk to Mota Bha since he is not yet fully well. He gets the hint and leaves. Sudha is lying on her bed dressed like a call girl recalling Surilee's words. Her husband comes in and is shocked at seeing her dressed in that manner. She talks like Surilee and says that this is what he likes about Surilee. He doesn't have to go out since she will be his Surilee. He tells her to change into her traditional clothing else what will the rest of the family say. They have a heated argument. She says that she will tell everyone and will not remain quiet. She tries to go when he slaps her badly.
All the kids are practicing the Krishna-Radha dance. Kesar bosses everyone around and teaches them to dance. Talli tells Kesar that he is wrong, and does a few steps to show what Gulaal taught. Kesar bosses her as well and puts Talli down. Reva interrupts but Kesar does not listen. Talli cries and leaves. Devika comes and tells Kesar that Mota Bha is back home. He runs and Gulaal tells him not to tell Mota Bha anything about the DeeyarVattu and Reva's broken engagement. Kesar is happy to meet Mota Bha.
Sudha runs to Dushyant's room and looks for Opium tablets. Dushyant prevents her from taking them and supports her. Reva complains to Gulaal about Kesar's behavior. Gulaal is unhappy and says that Kesar is jealous of Talli because she does everything better than him. Gulaal takes him to apologize to Talli. He refuses but she forcibly takes him. They apologize to Talli and she forgives him. She brings tea for Gulaal and lemon juice for Kesar. Gulaal appreciates her. Talli's father comes and talks to Gulaal. Gulaal asks about Talli's mother and finds out that Talli lost her mother two years back. Kesar and Gulaal feel very bad and Gulaal takes her in her lap and pets her.
Precap: Kesar's school has the function. The professor appreciates Gulaal's effort in training the kids, and while appreciating he mentions Gulaal's Deeyarvattu. Mota Bha hears this and is shocked, and looks at Gulaal. Gulaal looks at him nervously.
