Part 2

It has been a few days since the incident but the shooter is still on a run. Police comes to Akshat’s house to give him an update on the case. They tell him about the condition of the girl as well who was shot. Akshat hasn’t told his mother (savitri) about the girl getting shot. She’s shocked to hear about it from the police. Once the police leave she starts to question Akshat

Savitri: why didn’t you tell me anything before?

Akshat: what was there to tell?

Savitri: a girl got shot she’s on wheelchair and you are saying there is nothing to tell

Akshat: maa please I’ll give her enough money that shell live her life however she want

Savitri: not everything in this world can be bought with money she can’t walk. You don’t have any humanity left in you. Not everyone in this world is the same. Just because one girl cheated you for money doesn’t mean everyone else lives for money as well.

That was enough for Akshat to walk out while savitri keeps calling his name but he doesn’t listen. Akshat was very disturbed the whole day he keeps thinking about his first love that was only a cheat and break down. He shows the world his rough and tough attitude but deep inside he’s a soft hearted person but doesn’t want his heart broken one more time. When he returns back home his swollen eye his mother can tell that he cried once again away from everyone. She goes to him and he sleeps in her laps peacefully. Next morning he wakes up fresh has his breakfast and is about to leave for office when his mother stops him

Savitri: Akshat stop I want to meet that girl

Akshat: but maa what’s the need for that. I will go to that girl and give her whatever she wants you don’t have to go to her for anything.

Savitri: Akshat if you are adamant then I’m your mother take me to that girl

Akshat: no maa

Savitri: Akshat take me there

Akshat: ok maa but you know what ive told you don’t go against it

Savitri: ok lets go

They both go to the hospital as Guddan is still at the hospital but should be discharged today. They go to guddan’s room who is confused to see them as she hasn’t seen them before.

Savitri: hello beta, you look confused and why would you be but let me tell you who we are. Im savitri Jindal and this is my son Akshat Jindal.The bullet that you were shot with was meant for my son and you came there and got shot. Akshat leaves from there.

Guddan: ohhh nice to see you here auntie

Savitri: beta please forgive me I didn’t know that someone has gotten shot that day otherwise I would have come to meet you earlier.

Guddan: its ok auntie what was bound to happen happened we can’t change it.

Savitri: what are the doctors saying?
Guddan: they are still hopeful that everything will be fine. I will be able to walk again one day.

Savitri: my prayers are with you beta. I heard you were being discharged today no one came to get you?

Guddan: auntie I don’t have anyone in this world I live alone

Savitri: if that’s the case I will not let you go home alone in this situation you will come with me to my house and I will take care of you

Guddan: no auntie there’s no need of that I will take care of myself I’m used to it by now

Savitri: it was different earlier but now you are in a wheelchair you need someone to take care of you

Guddan: auntie please I will be fine and anyways your son didn’t even seem pleased to be here what will he do if I am at your house

Savitri: don’t worry about him I will take care of him. I will be happy that I was able to do something for you please agree to me

Guddan thinks for a while and then agrees knowing that she is definitely going to need someone’s help to live through it. Some physical and some emotional support as well which she thought savitri would be able to give her.

Guddan gets discharged and they head to Jindal mansion

Akshat wasn’t very pleased to see guddan at his house but didn’t say anything as deep down he feels guilty that he’s reason for her condition but doesn’t show guddan any care or concern he just does what his mother asks him to do.

Guddan is in and out of lot of doctors offices and savitri accompanies her to the visits just in case she needs anything. Guddan is very comfortable with savitri as well. She’s felt the motherly love that she hadn’t felt before. Guddan is actsully happy that savitri came in her life and have her the love that she never got.

One guy comes to jindal mansion to meet guddan

Guy: how are you felling guddan

Guddan: I’m fine how are you

Guy: I’m good too what are the doctors saying

Guddan: they’re still hopeful that ill be fine

Guy: guddan I have to talk to you about something important

Guddan: yes what is it

Guy: guddan we can’t continue anymore I will not be able to marry you my parents aren’t agreeing for out marriage anymore

(Yes the guy is Guddan’s fiancé abhay)

Guddan: how can you do this abhay if you love me you won’t leave me alone in this situation

Abhay: I am sorry guddan I love you but I can’t go against my parents anymore. You know how hard of was for me to get them to agree to marriage you that you are in wheelchair they will never agree to get me married to you. They don’t want to wait for my marriage anymore.

Guddan: but a gay I told you the doctors are hopeful that I’ll be ok

Abhay: hopeful but they’re not saying you’ll be fine 100%

Who said she won’t be fine now I will make sure that she will be fine 100% comes a voice

Both turn to look and it’s none other than akshat and savitri standing

Akshat:is this the kind of guy you like and you are marrying to who can’t even be with you in tough situation

Savitri: sorry beta I know it’s your personal matter and we shouldn’t be talking in this matter but I have seen this world more than you that’s why I’m saying if a guy can’t stand by you in your weak time before marriage he won’t be able to do it after either

Abhay: hello both of you what are you saying Haan there is no one who will marry a girl in wheelchair if you are so gray enough why doesn’t Mr Akshat jindal marry her

Guddan: stop this nonsense abhay

Akshat: what the hell what nonsense why would I marry her

Abhay: see when it comes to you you back off as well as no one wants a wife in wheelchair

Akshat: it has nothing to do with her being in wheelchair I will neither marry her nor anyone else

Savitri: i know this girl for only a few weeks and i can tell she’s a gem I would be blessed to have a daughter in law like her but I would never want her to marry my son because I know my son wouldn’t be able to give her the love she deserves

Abhay: once again what a good way to deny a marriage to girl on wheelchair

Guddan: STOP IT you all will you please

Abhay: what stop it guddan am I not saying the right thing you git shot because of him in wheelchair because of him so why not marry him and enjoy his money

Guddan: enough abhay whatever happened was written in my fate and it was bound to happen I wouldn’t be able to avoid it no matter what so stop blaming him that he’s the reason I’m in wheelchair

Abhay: you stupid girl I told you to sue him for money but you didn’t listen we would’ve gotten millions from this man and lived our life happily but you being the nice girl you are declined it now live your life alone

Guddan: not everything in this world is about money I am alive that’s what matters to me and who are you to break this engagement I break it myself

She takes off the rings and throws it to his face while crying and tells him to leave

Abhay: that easily Ms guddan I thought it would be a while before you’ll understand but ok. Let me ask you one thing though is there something going on between you and him is that why you were quick to call it off with me. You know what I mean like do you make his nights full of fun is that why

That was it for Akshat he grabs him by his collar drags him out and throws him out the door and yells at him don’t you ever even dare come close to Guddan and I promise she’ll be out of wheelchair soon and I’ll do anything for that

Akshat come back and sees guddan hugging savitri and crying and tells her that I have decided I will not stay here anymore today one person said this tomorrow someone else will say this also I can’t let anyone say this about me I will not stay here anymore. You have helped me a lot and I really appreciate it but now it’s my time to go

Savitri: beta people only talk about others that’s their work don’t listen to them just think about yourself you know you didn’t do anything wrong so why care about people

Guddan: I know auntie but I can’t listen to people saying anything wrong about me

Savitri: I know how important a girl’s respect Is to herself I won’t stop you but I will still say please stay here

Akshat who was somewhat guilty is now felling really vilify and on top of that he promised that he will get guddan back on her feet so he decides to stop guddan somehow.

Akshat: you don’t have to go anywhere I will not let you go anywhere

Guddan: please don’t stop me like I said my self respect is very important to me I will not let anyone say something about me please let me go

Akshat: I just promised that gut that I’ll make sure I will get you fine and that I can do best when you are here with me so I will not let you go anywhere

Guddan: I will not stay here for your pride just because you promised him doesn’t mean ill stay here at cost if my pride never

Akshat: I’m just saying until you get better just stay here

Guddan: NO I will not there’s nothing between us that you can make me stay here

Akshat: I will marry you

Both savitri and guddan are dumbstruck by his statement

Guddan: I don’t want anyone to marry me because they pity on me and I know that is the case here so I will never marry you

With that she goes away from there

Savitri: I’m very happy with you decision guddan is a good girl she will keep you happy

Akshat : maa I don’t need her to keep me happy I’m only marrying her so she doesn’t leave to house and once she’s fine I’ll divorce her

Savitri: we will see that I know she’ll be able to make spot in your heart before that day comes when you decide to divorce her and don’t worry I will get her to agree to this marriage
