I'm glad Akshat was not there to come to the rescue. It gave Laxmi, who is usually timid, a chance to do what her heart told her was right and beat up those guys not just to help Guddan, who stood up for her earlier, but also to teach Rocky a lesson for harassing her earlier.

Also good that Angad joined in because he gets to see that not all woman are bad and that sometimes women are wronged by evil men, too. The more he is exposed to such incidents the more he will understand the world. It's an important part of his journey to healing.
