we know aj state of mind when it comes to guddan ..

his eyes are fond of guddan but his voice doesn't acknowledge her as wife because of his past ..

we have seen his emotions many times he has something special for guddan he terms it as humanity ..

but we never seen guddan POV we only seen respect for aj and dadi and through drunk episode we came to know he is second in her list after her dad who is pillar of strength and support but her feelings are not that clear ...

but some how with ILU episode i feel we got to know few aspects of her feelings or emotions towards jindal saab that's what she terms him as ..

for her he is just a mentor and support system not beyond that ..

while spelling ILU she had those FB from the day aj came in her life ...

1. cake mask---were she yelled called him uncle---age is barrier for her she thinks he is too old for falling in love ...

2. marriage face off were aj yells at guddan of faking and terming majboori---here she feels there is trust issues here...

3.engagement broke---here she feels akshan were never meant to be ...detached

4.lastly aj warnings for guddan not to be a wife ---here she feels she has no rights on him as wife ...

so we see 4 reasons for her to back off

age, trust,detached and no rights so this was enough reason not to fall for him or even if feelings blossoms these reasons are enough to suppress her emotions and snap her to the reality and make her be grounded not flow like a stream in love ..

this is my pov i am guessing it ...😃

I agree

Esp that part where she remembered AJ yelling at her saying there was no majboori n then saying he hasnt given her the right to be his wife (this was crucial I guess since no one will say ILU when the other has specifically drilled this particular sentence in her head, she knows AJ only addresses her as his mother's DIL n the bahus MIL )

I feel these 2 poignant instances will make her suppress her feelings or deny them

Also coz she is very aware of how devoted AJ is to Antara

So even when she starts seeing him in a new light she wont confess thinking about this

I so want AJ to fall n realise first and then help Guddan figure out her feelings too

it will be like aj falling first and then assuring her that will be apt i dont want her to fall for him and insulted badly later

That was a beautiful scene because as you said it showed all the mental barriers that Guddan has. People often tell her not to overthink things but still does it anyway.

In a way she puts AJ on a pedestal and does not think he would ever consider her worthy of being his wife in the true sense or even his equal as a life partner. Also, the love that AJ has for Antra is inspirational to her and deep down she feels that will never change and that AJ will never love another woman again. She accepts it and does not expect more.

At the end of the party, Guddan has realized and accepted that she is not just Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal, but she is Mrs. Guddan AKSHAT Jindal. It's not just about the name. It's about respect and honor. And that it's gonna be that way for life.

She has tackled the 'age' factor by accepting their marriage. Now she needs to realize that they are not just a team, but they are also partners. Trust, dignity, rights and detachment persists to be a barrier now.

I loved that scene too.
They wont be realizing their love so soon, especially Guddan.
Guddan still thinks Akshat is wrong in thinking her stepmom behind hers and Akshat's marriage and Revati's kidnapping so this can be another factor
