Is the dress she is wearing a present from him or from someone else?
She says that she put it on to make that person happy even if she doesn't like such dull colors. That must have got to him too. 😆
He's resisting the change she's indirectly bringing into his life through this new color but at the same time, her innocence and genuine caring is something he can't turn away from. On some very basic level his innate goodness doesn't allow him to bulldoze her plans and her "chhoti chhoti khushiyan".
