I felt dadi didn't focus on Guddu sleeping in balcony fact much & that didn't get inside her head, she was too scared & shocked with Guddu's "assumed suicide attempt" & then relived that Guddu wasn't had no such intention & then she noticed Guddu without MS
& all these happened so quick that between all this she didn't get a moment of time to concentrate properly on this fact & couldn't absorb this fact properly in her mind.
+ Guddu explained everything in "harbari". So all she could absorb from Guddu's blabbering get was, Guddu wasn't committing suicide & the next second she got distracted seeing the MS missing.
or she might have thought, that is just a temporary relaxing place for Guddu.
