Episode 5Hi all. Here is the 5th episode of Nothing is Impossible. Hopefully you all will like it. Scene 1: HospitalGuddan is worried and sad after getting the call.
Dadi: What happened Guddan beta? You seem to be tensed.
Guddan: My job...They fired me...
Dadi tries to calm Guddan down.
Dadi: I think you should talk to your boss once.
Guddan nods. She sadly leaves from there.
Dadi: (in her mind) This girl lost her job while saving me...
Scene 2: Garage
Guddan rushes to the garage.
Guddan: Sir! Why are you kicking me out of this job? Please don't fire me! Please Rajan sir!
Happy: Yes Rajan Sir, Guddan should get another chance.
Rajan: I am the owner of this garage and I have the right to decide who will work in my garage. Guddan you have done a grave mistake that's why I am firing you!
Guddan: (crying) But sir what have I done!
Rajan: What have you done!! You were test driving a car and then you spilled mud on a lady! She complained to me. I had to face so much embarasement!
Happy: But Guddan was just...
Rajan: You don't defend her Happy, if not I am also going to throw you out of this job too! I have kept ignoring her mistakes. I should not have done so.
Guddan: Sir...
Rajan: Get out of here, right now!
Guddan runs away from there crying.
Scene 3: Jindal MansionAfter two days,
Dadi is discharged from the hospital.
Durga helps out Dadi and helps her to lie down on the bed.
AJ: Maa, you won't do any work now. You will rest here. Doctor say you need full bed rest for a month!
Dadi: It's okay Lalla, I will manage.
AJ: No Maa! I am not listening to you. And yes I am hiring a personal assistant for you!
Dadi: No. No. I don't want any assistant!
AJ: Maa...
Durga: Dadi, AJ is right. You need an assistant. I can't always take care of you. There are so many other things to do! I need to take care of the household also.
Dadi: I do not need anyone to take care of me!
AJ: What is this Maa? Why are you doing so? You are getting me more worried.
Dadi: Okay fine, I will allow you to keep an assistant for me!
Durga smiles and AJ is relieved.
Dadi: In one condition.
AJ: I would agree to that condition. Just say.
Dadi: I want Guddan to be my assistant.
AJ and Durga are shocked!
AJ: Maa, what are you saying! You want to make that Galtiyon ka Dukaan your assistant! I am sorry I don't agree to this!
Dadi: LalLa that girl lost her job.
AJ: Who will keep that Galtiyon Ka Dukaan in their job?
Dadi: LalLa why are you furious on her?
AJ: Maa you have no idea how stupid this Guddan is. She makes a lot of mistake unnecessarily. She was even in Saru Bahu's wedding as a guest. You have no idea what she did. She...
Dadi: She was there?? I didn't know.
AJ: Whatever, but I don't want that girl here!
Dadi: LalLa, she did not lose the job cause of her own fault! She was fired from the job because she saved me and she couldn't make it for work.
AJ: How do you know she got fired cause of that?
Dadi: She got a call from her boss that she got fired.
AJ: But how does it prove that...
Dadi: That poor girl lost her job while saving me! I want to hire her as my personal assistant and nobody else. Either hire Guddan as my assistant or no assistant for me!
AJ: Maa, what stubborness is!
Durga: Dadi, are you sure?
Dadi: Yes!
Durga: AJ I think we should listen to Dadi. There is no harm in giving that girl a chance. We should hire her. We should pay back to her for saving Dadi's life.
AJ: Durga Bahu at least you...
Dadi: I don't care. I want Guddan if not...
Dadi starts coughing. Durga makes Dadi drink her water.
AJ: Okay fine! I will hire her!
Dadi smiles.
Dadi: Go to her house and hire her okay! Tell her she can come from tomorrow.
AJ nods.
Durga: Now you are happy Dadi?
Dadi nods. Durga smiles.
Scene 4: Guddan's houseIn the evening,Revati comes and sits beside Guddan.
Revati: Dii eat something, you have not eaten properly since yesterday.
Guddan: It's okay Chutki I am not hungry.
Revati: Dii, how is it okay? You have not ate since morning. And you will get other jobs.
Guddan: No Chutki! Who will hire me? After all I always make mistake!
Revati: Dii don't say like this.
Kaushaliya: Chutki why are you wasting time behind this fool! Go and study!
Revati: But Maa...
Kaushaliya: Chutki!!
Guddan gestures Revati to go and study. Revati agrees and does so.
Kaushaliya: And it's good you are not working. It's better for you to stay at home rather than spoiling our reputation outside.
Kaushaliya leaves angrily. Guddan cries.
AJ comes there to the area where Guddan's flat is.
AJ: Where is Guddan's house?
A boy from the neighbourhood shows him.
AJ rings the bell.
Kaushaliya opens the door.
Kaushaliya: You?
AJ: This is your house?
Kaushaliya: Yes. Come in.
AJ: Looks like I came in the wrong house.
As AJ is about to go, Guddan comes there.
Guddan: Uncle?
AJ: Guddan?
Kaushaliya: You both know each other?
Guddan: Maa this is AJ uncle. Saraswati's father-in-law.
Kaushaliya: I know that but how do you know him!
AJ: Oh so Guddan is your daughter! Expected.
Kaushaliya is confused.
Kaushaliya: Come in AJ!
AJ comes in and sit down.
Kaushaliya: You are here...In this house...
AJ: I have a message for Guddan.
Guddan: Me? Now what have I done?
AJ: This message is from Maa. She wants to hire you as her personal assistant. You may join the job from tomorrow for a month.
Guddan: (stammering) M...m...me?
AJ: Yes! I am here to hire you!
Guddan: I don't want this job.
AJ: I have came here to offer you this job for Maa if I not I am not interested to hire you.
Kaushaliya: Actually AJ, Guddan and job...she...
AJ: Her salary will be Rs30000.
Kaushaliya is stunned
Guddan: Its okay. I apologise to Dadi. Tell her that I won't...
Kaushaliya: Of course, she will work! Guddan you can work from tomorrow!
Guddan: But Maa...
Kaushaliya: Don't worry , you can join work. Guddan, you wanted to work right! So here is the opportunity. Say yes beta!
Before Guddan can say anything, AJ keeps the money on the table.
AJ: I expect to see you tomorrow.
Kaushaliya is about to take the money, AJ takes it back.
AJ: You will get this once you join work. I will send the car here tomorrow at 10am sharp. The driver will fetch you!
Guddan: You keep your money with you!
AJ leaves from there.
Guddan: This Uncle is arrogant! He thinks what! He can buy everything with money! Wrong!
Kaushaliya: Just shut your mouth and go to work from tomorrow!
Guddan: But..
Kaushaliya: You have defamed us a lot. Now you have a chance to redeem it. And you better pass me whatever money you earn by this job. If you ever feel sorry do this job!
Kaushaliya goes from there.
Guddan: What a dilema I am in! I don't want to work in that AJ uncle's house! When I want to work Maa is always against it, and now I don't want to work she is forcing me to work. What is this!!
Guddan gets thinking.
Guddan: But uncle said he is hiring me as Dadi wants so. If I don't go Dadi will feel very bad. But If I go I have to see that uncle's face for a month! What to do!
Guddan lies down on her bed and gets thinking.
Scene 5: Jindal Mansion Next day,Guddan gets out from the car and comes to Jindal Mansion.
Guddan enters the house.
The three bahus are there standing there. Saru and Lakhsmi are surprised. Durga smiles.
Saraswati and Lakshmi is whispering to each other.
Saru: What is Guddan doing here?
Lakshmi: Saru, you know her?
Saru: Yes she was my classmate in college. She is an idiot. You know, she even failed in college.
Lakshmi: What! She is the same garage girl who spoilt my dress by spilling mud on me.
Saru: What!
Durga: What are you both whispering?
Lakshmi n Saru: Nothing
Durga: Dadi has hired her as her personal assistant! (Smiling)
Lakhsmi n Saru: What!!!
Guddan: Hello, I am Guddan. I am here for Dadi...
Guddan gets surprised seeing the three bahus, especially Lakshmi
Guddan: (murmuring) Oh yes Saraswati Churail just got married in this house, and Durga Jii she is very nice but what is that girl in the middle doing? She is the one because of whom I lost my job...
Durga: Guddan, you already know me, and this is Saraswati the youngest daughter-in-law of this house, and this Lakshmi the middle daughter-in-law of this house.
Guddan folds her hand to Lakhsmi.
Guddan: Namaste!
Guddan says hi to Saraswati.
Durga: Guddan, let me take you to Dadi. She is waiting for you.
Durga takes Guddan, AJ comes there.
AJ: Oh, so finally you came!
Guddan: What do you think?
AJ: I knew you will come. After all its about money.
Guddan makes face and goes from there.
Lakshmi: I don't understand how can AJ hire this girl! That means she will be here for a month!!!
Saru: I am worried what she will mess up in this one month! I won't be surprised if she burns down the entire house one day.
Lakshmi gets nervous.
Lakshmi: Right!
Durga brings Guddan to Dadi.
Dadi: Guddan Beta!
Durga: Dadi, you talk to her, I will be coming in a while.
Durga goes.
Guddan comes and hug Dadi.
Guddan: How is your health now?
Dadi: Slightly better.
Guddan: Dadi...can I ask you something?
Dadi: Ask.
Guddan: Why did you hire me? There are so many better assistants who can take good care of you. I will make a lot of mistake.
Dadi: Who said that! There might be professional assistants, but I chose you because you will not treat me like a patient, you will treat me like as if I am your own.
Guddan smiles.
Dadi: Guddan beta, I apologise to you. Because of me you lost your job, rightb
Guddan: No, no Dadi who said that!
Dadi: . You saved me, and then waited for me to be okay...
Guddan: No Dadi! That is not related at all! It was that La...
Guddan: (in her mind) If I tell Dadi about what Lakshmi Jii did, she will feel bad.
Guddan: I made a mistake that's why I got fired. It was not related to this.
Guddan becomes sad.
Dadi: Forget about this. Let's talk about something else.
Durga comes there.
Durga: Guddan, here is the prescription for Dadi's medicine. I have written it on a paper when and what time to give the medicine to Dadi.
Guddan takes the paper and nods.
Durga: Keep it carefully!! I just have one with me!
Guddan: Okay.
Guddan reads the paper and looks at the medicine.
Durga: I will also tell you what you need to do.
Later,
Durga: Let me guide you around the house.
Guddan nods.
Durga guides Guddan around the house while Guddan happily looks around the house.
Lakshmi and Saraswati hides and see what Guddan is doing.
Guddan touches a vase.
Guddan: Such a pretty vase.
Saru: Look cockroach!
Guddan gets scared and she drops the vase which breaks. Durga looks at Guddan.
Lakshmi and Saraswati gives each other hi-5.
Guddan: Sorry!
Durga tells one of the servant to clean the broken pieces.
Durga nods no and goes while Guddan follows her.
Durga: (in her mind) She is a sweet girl, but I don't know if she can handle this job. She is already making mistakes.
Just then Dhruv comes from school and runs ro Durga.
Dhruv: Mamma!
Durga carries him.
Guddan: He is your son? He is so cute.
Guddan pulls his cheek.
Guddan: What is your name?
Dhruv: Dhruv.
Guddan: My name is Guddan.
Dhruv: Gud..Gud..
Guddan: Yes I am good. So you are.
Dhruv: Mamma I am very hungry.
Guddan: Even I am hungry.
Durga: There is food for you on the table you can have it. I feed Dhruv by then.
Guddan nods.
Guddan is having her lunch.
Lakhsmi: Look at this Guddan, she is eating so peacefully!
Saru: Don't worry Lakhsmi Dii I won't let that happen. Come with me.
Lakhsmi and Saraswati comes and sit beside Guddan.
Lakhsmi: How is the food?
Guddan: Amazing.
Guddan looks at Lakhsmi and Saraswati surprised.
Guddan: So you two were the one who said there was cockroach?
Saru: Wow Guddan you became smart.
Guddan smiles.
Saru: Tumse Naa Ho Payega Yeh Jankar Bhi Tum Yahan Kaam Karne Aa Gaye?
Guddan: Mujhse Ho Payega Isliye Main Yeh Job Kar Rahi Hoon, Samjhi Saraswati Churail.
Lakshmi laughs while Saraswati gets angry.
Saraswati: You...(pointing finger on Guddan)
Lakshmi: What do you think of yourself?
Guddan: I am Guddan and what else? And Lakshmi Jii, you were the one who threw me out of my job, so I am working here in your house. It's good in a way right! Hisaab Barabar!
Lakhsmi: If I knew you were the same one Dadi wanted to hire I won't have let that happen!
Guddan: Well I am full now. I have to go and give Dadi her medicine.
Guddan goes.
Lakshmi: What does she think of herself?
Saru: Don't worry. She won't be here for much time.
Lakhsmi: One month is a lot of time Saru! I can't even tolerate her a day!
Saru: We have to be patient. And who knows that one month may become not even a week!
Lakshmi is confused.
Saru: She won't even survive a week here! At least this much I know her.
In evening,Guddan: Dadi it was good to be with you. See you tomorrow!
Guddan is about to go, AJ comes there. They almost collide with each other.
AJ: Maa how was the day?
Dadi: Very good LalLa. And Guddan made my day better.
AJ: Did she do any mistake?
Guddan: (softly)Yes I made a mistake...I broke a vase...
AJ nods no.
AJ takes out his wallet and passes Guddan 1000 ruppees.
AJ: Here is your today's earning.
Guddan: 1000?
AJ: You are working here for 30 days. And I don't think you will be here for that long. So you will get it per day. I am surprised you survived a day! Good job!
Guddan: I am not that bad! And Rs1000 is enough money!
AJ: Good you know that! And better come on time tomorrow! I will be sending the car sharp 9am as I don't want you to give excuse that you forgot the house address.
Guddan: But wasn't it 10am?
AJ: It was your first day that's why I allowed 10am. If you have problems with 9am, then you can leave this job.
Guddan: (unwillingly)Okay fine 9am.
AJ: Good.
Guddan: (in her mind) How will I wake up so early tomorrow?
Guddan: Okay bye. No need to taunt me.
AJ: Wait!
Guddan stops. AJ takes out a contract paper.
Guddan: What is it?
AJ: Read it!
Guddan reads the paper.
AJ: Sign this contract of working here for a month. This is not your some part time job. This is a professional job.
Guddan: I am signing. No need to taunt me.
Guddan signs the paper and leaves.
Dadi: LalLa why are you behaving with her like this? She is such a sweet and lovely girl?
AJ: Sweet and lovely? What a joke Maa! If you saw her earlier you would know why I dislike her a lot.
AJ leaves from there.
Dadi: This Lalla has problems with everyone.
Scene 6: Guddan's HouseGuddan is in her house.
Guddan passes the money to Kaushaliya.
Kaushaliya: Just Rs900?
Guddan: AJ uncle say that he will pay me daily. So he will pay Rs1000 each.
Kaushaliya: That is fine, but where is Rs100?
Guddan: I and Chutki went to eat ice cream in her fav ice cream parlour so there we used Rs100! It has been so long we didn't go there.
Kaushaliya: Is money growing from tree? Whatever money you earn you will give entire money to me! And don't put the blame on my Chutki.
Guddan: But...
Kaushaliya: I am sparing you this time but make sure next time this doesn't happen.
Guddan: Maa, can you give some money to Papa? You always take this money.
Kaushaliya fumes.
Kaushaliya: It's my money too. I can do what I want to do! And if you speak about this again, I am going to take the Rs100 from you!
Guddan angrily puts the Rs100 she had earlier on the table.
Guddan: Here you go your Rs100!
Guddan leaves.
Kaushaliya: She has already started to open her mouth and as always showing tantrums. I have to do something about this girl, but she is earning money too at the same time.
Kaushaliya ges thinking.
Kaushaliya: But what if she makes mistake and AJ fires her soon! I have to do something!
Scene 7: Jindal Mansion Next day,
Guddan rushes to Jindal Mansion.
AJ is about to leave,
AJ: Kal Ke Liye Kuch Zyaada Jaldi Nahi Aa Gaye!(Sarcasm)
Guddan: I am sorry. I overslept!
AJ: I have to go to restaurant now that's why I am not saying anything!
AJ leaves.
Durga: Don't be late again.
Guddan nods and she goes upstairs. Durga nods negatively.
Saru: Lakhsmi Dii the way Guddan is going, I think we won't have to do anything!
Lakhsmi: But still... we should do something! I can't tolerate her.
Saru: She will be fired soon!
In the afternoon, Durga is doing the Pooja. Guddan, Lakhsmi, Saru and Dadi prays.
Durga: Dadi, let me bring you upstairs.
Dadi: I am bored of staying in my room. Let me be in the living room for sometime.
Durga: Alright.
Durga and Guddan helps Dadi sit on the sofa.
Guddan: I will go and bring your medicine for you!
Guddan takes out the paper with the prescription and keeps it on table
Guddan goes to take the paper, Saraswati moves Guddan's hand slightly due to which she drops the water on the paper.
All are shocked. Lakhsmi and Saraswati laughs silently.
Durga: What have you done Guddan! I didn't had any copy of it!
Guddan gets nervous.
Dadi: Durga bahu, she did it by mistake!
Durga: Now how will we know what medicine to give to Dadi? See now, I have to ask the doctor again!!
Durga is about to call the doctor,
Guddan: Durga Jii. Don't worry I have taken a picture of the prescription. Because I know the paper might get lost. See. (Showing her phone)
Dadi is impressed so is Durga.
Lakhsmi and Saraswati's plan fails and they become unhappy.
The episode ends
Precap: AJ scolds Guddan like anything making Guddan teary eyed. AJ fires Guddan out of the job.Next episode will be a slightly emotional one for AJ and Guddan. I would be posting the next episode on Wednesday, but a day before that I will be posting the summary of Episode 1-5 so that new readers can know what happened in the story so far.
