Ikr! When you criticize the fact that this show is copying yhm..The fans respond with "all shows copy each other". It seriously shows what dumps ITV is in right now. If you look at SP in 2014-15 Era, almost all shows belonged to different genres with completely different storylines. One of the reasons YHM worked in an odd time slot was the fact that it had a lot of novelty..be it ishita- ruhi or ishita-raman nok jhoks, north vs south culture clash. Even the family scenes and the supporting characters were wholesome.
But now a days when you switch on the TV, all shows are simply clones of each other. Instead of criticizing the makers, fans are busy defending them. If this keeps going on, who knows 10 years down the line even ghum might be "remade"đ¤Ą
We can't blame makers totally ..Viewers are equally responsible for what they are getting
TRP is an important factor , this is all involved with money ...
When people ( TV)won't watch modern concept they still indulge in Triangle đşď¸ đ, FL being infertile ...seriously so many dramas have repeated, toxic MLs and doormat FLs and poisonous joint family..
They will get that ....Makers serve what the Viewers ask
There was a good show ( limited episodes ) which I watched and loved called " Dhadkan" where a lady cardio thorasic surgeon defying all the odds and becoming successful. She never looked back at her toxic ex moved on in life ...It was on Sony TV
The TRP it got was 0.2
When people want only the same plots over and over again đ why do makers take risk
Audience are getting what they deserve đ
About OG YHM , 10 to 12 yrs back it aired so today's youngsters who don't find it interesting is natural.
It is difficult to like old drams for younger people đ unlike movies it us difficult to re watch .
Ektha's serials always start beautiful like đ diamonds and she would turn them to " stinky waste " later with all illogical tracks .
It is a business so if makers looks like don't want to take risks just give same thing
YHM plot initially was from a book called " Custody" later Ektha introduced her own creativity
