Firstly invoking religion to justify a stupid ship is [moral policing ka ilzaam laga denge mods toh rehne dete hai]

Secondly, Hindu Marriage Act allows for divorce i.e Indian Constitution and the Supreme Court uphold divorces and remarriages as legal passages. So take it up with the Supreme Court of India. Anyone can file a PIL.

Depending on which Dharmashastra or Purana or Epic you look at, I am sure you will find many instances of women remarrying in Hindu mythology. But, then, I don't wish to drag religion in public discourse to win arguements.
