I think everyone is right at their situation...

Virat being a police officer has to maintain safety and save as many people he can. Rather than thinking of their personal equation. He sees how much sai cares for kids maybe this puts some realisation in him that she only wants her kids to eb happy and healthy and has nothing to do with him.

Satya is having major crush on sai has also seen how her kids are dependent on her and as she being the only other woman after girja also his wife he has very write to be possessive after seeing how V treats her he has to be tensed around them.

Sai is literally holding lives under her hands one minimal movement and all dead all she could right now is about her kids whom she loves the most if both her and Virat die in the situation her kids will be anath and she doesn't want that she herself had lost both her parent and knows how difficult it is to live like that.
