What is Sai, a rock or what!! Arrey, Patralekha is scared if she will lose her son, Aswini is worried for that and lecturing the girl who has already lost her son, what about her takleef of not having her own son by her side, which is snatched by 'the very same Patralekha'..

How can Aswini talk like that to an akeli ladki without family, as if she doesn't have any emotions, just because Patralekha sacrificed pata nahi what for a few years, when this Patralekha broke the very same girl's family, she lost her son, infact she lost her everything except her self respect.. now she is asking her to throw that also for Patralekha's mental peace!!!

I have no idea what they are trying to show... This is more like Gul's dark stories where the evil always win!!

@bold, oh my god, this! When i was watching this scene, I kept wondering, then I thought maybe she is talking about Patru being married to a man who doesn't love her and raising a child who isn't theirs. And where are Patralekha's parents in this whole mess? If Kaku is well and kicking, Patralekha, whose parents jhelofied her about 20 years surely have got more in them.

And while am at it, why would Virat marry another woman if he was in love with someone else (ik Satya is doing the same, and I believe it's not really healthy to just marry someone coz your parents are pressuring you into it, if you are not over the person you were in love with) if you adopted a kid, could have just raised him alone, your whole clan is there to help you, people have raised kids alone, they don't need partners. Vinu would have had a much better family and childhood if he wasn't dragged into this mess of second marriage and third love triangle saga by his immature father.

I think Aswini is projecting her own marital issues and past trauma onto Patralekha and therefore cannot sympathize with Sai any longer. Add to that it still seems like she cannot let go of the grudge she has about Sai leaving all those years ago. I know they addressed it in the show but the way the write Aswini it really seems like she hasn’t let it go. She identifies more with P than S. Her whole marriage was “staying married for the kid and bc culture “. I’m not surprised at all that she has no thought or sympathy for Sai.

No. Sai was living alone because she was waiting for Virat and she has confessed many times that she loves Virat, she even told her Aaba recently that she wants to be with Virat but she can't break a home means if Pakhi wasn't there, she would have gone back to Virat.

Honestly, I feel even that would have been acceptable had V done his junoon-bhara portrayal of a separated lover and tried to woo her back.

But after his marriage with P and the subsequent honeymoon and still prioritizing her whatever reasons, adopting Vinu and claiming P to be his mother after the truth was out and treating Sai and her emotions like crap before his sudden realization of love, this baingan ka bharta is absolutely unpalatable.

And then maybe, Sai wouldn't have gone soft on him, possibly. Who knows! She would have bajaofied him and then accepted him as a part of her family with the kids. Woh bhi chal jaata in Ghumland (even if everyone conveniently forgot the mental abuse pre-leap) which is being highlighted now.

It is not about Virat. Virat has always been nasty towards Sai from throwing her out at night or not giving her food to eat

When Sai went against family and got Devi-pulkit married, he ordered that none serves her food but when Pakhi went against family and filed a case against Sai, he sat in his bedroom with a plate of food because she didn't eat anything that day and left his bedroom

After everything Virat has done, this woman loves him and waited for him. If Pakhi divorces him, we know Sai will go back to Virat

Sai and Ashwini's conversation was important for Sai to understand that she can't keep waiting for this man, she can't keep loving him but the woman is crazy 🤦‍♀️

@bold: I've been doing some research about adoption in India for a friend recently. For crying out aloud, this show portrays a DCP, politician and ex-army personnel. How come no one knows that a single man does not need to be married to adopt a male child in this country? Besides, the CN family would have passed with flying colours during the background check because of their affluence and flourishing business and khaandani name. The child would have add three grandparents along with younger members to take care of the child in case something happened to the father. So even that wouldn't have been an issue

This whole VP marriage was a sham, to keep the PL relevant and add drama to the already phailaoed raita. While I understand the need for emotional atyachaar, can for once the iTV show makers stick to true facts?

Kya pata. That's probably how they want to promote pativrata-ness. Frankly, in today's times, even less-educated and women who aren't independent are seen taking steps to get out of toxic relationships with their in-laws, husbands and even parents.

But yeh iTV wale toh alag reality mein jeete hain. Sai has been butchered more than even V in this show. A strong woman who stood up for almost every young woman in that ungrateful CN family, is being shown as a doormat with puppy eyes.

While that conversation with Ashwini was triggering to watch, I was more angry with Sai's response to it. Tears or pitiful smiles ain't going to melt people without a conscience.

Also, I might be wrong, but I don't think she waited to be united with V. Possibly, she had been hurt enough to lose faith in an intimate relationship. Happens to the best of us.

I didn't go into the legal part of it coz this show and ITV on general has zero dying effs about law, but yeah, if single men CAN adopt kids, what's with VirAkhi marriage? Yaa Ashwini and Bhavan managed to change the law in the Ghum verse or Nagpur alone🤪
