Yesterday's and today's episode were so good (Especially yesterday's), and both Ayesha and Neil performed fantastically. It felt so nice to see Neil Bhatt shine through again, after a long time of below-mediocre acting. He perfectly depicted Virat's anxiety, pain, and borderline obsession with Sai. I wouldn't be surprised if they show Virat going full-blown villainous in the future.
One of my most favorite moments is the one seconds before Virat burst to cry in front of Sai, when his lower lip starts trembling. It was such a subtle detail but for me, it added such depth to the situation. It reminded me why Neil Bhatt used to be so famous for his nuances.
As for Ayesha, her acting in the last episode wasn't as much of a show-stealer, mainly because she didn't really have as much of a heavy role in comparison to that of Virat's, but today it was magnificent. Her portrayal of Sai's shock, fear, pain, and most importantly, irritation were brilliant. I especially loved how she showed Sai losing her patience with Virat mid-sentences (quite like how it usually happens in real life).
It felt so amazing to watch both of them in a scene together where they both were so in sync. Although the situation is far from the same, the scene had quite the same charm as those of the initial SaiRat. Personally, I always found SaiRat fight scenes much more interesting than their romantic ones, and today was no exception.
Episodes like these show precisely how much of a potential Ghum had to be a brilliant show, but unfortunately, the makers ruined it with their crappy writing. But then again, it hasn't really lost its second place in trp since...forever, so, I suppose their below-average writing is precisely what Indian audiences prefer.
