Why did makers kill Samrat? He was an interesting character. Just saw his interview saying he would like to play a lead next time. Sad. Wish makers had made him a lead rather than revolving everything around Virat. I also saw some off screen videos of Samrat and Ayesha. They looked cute and had a good chemistry. Checked out and the Samrat actor isn’t married. But I guess it’s their life so my liking doesn’t matter.

Pakhi - I wish she would find a good partner and leave the looser Virat. She is wasting her time and whole life over him. All she has got is heartache, pain, losing everything and nothing else good except adopting Vinu.

Satya - it’s so unfair how children born out of wedding are abused by people and the society. How is it the child’s fault if the father is a manwhore and can’t take responsibility for the child? But of course, it’s the woman and the child who are blamed, abused and humiliated 😒 I hate that. This show is going the Madhubala way where Sultan was shown as a child born without marriage and humiliated for it. He then turned out to be ml’s brother and turned negative to glorify ML. I would hate if Satya doesn’t get his rightful place and rights he has been deprived of since he was born if he is from Chavan. Or turned negative to glorify Virat. Why did the camera rolled over his mom when that Balvani was talking about how a woman can do anything for love? Like what? They are gonna blame Satya’s mom for being a bad person and supposedly the Chavan who fathered him is innocent?

Satya-Sai: I would like if only they fall in love with each other. Otherwise, I would hate if Satya loves Sai but Sai still in love with Virat and leaves him in the end since she’s the lead and he will be heartbroken again 😢

I haven’t watched those episodes. I have come across few scenes of their though and they were fine/good. But they weren’t romantic so not sure how they look as romantic couple. But I wish CVS hadn’t killed him :(

They were some dream scenes of them in beginning of the show. They used to look good together. Yes they shouldn't have killed him. But they did it for virakhi marriage.

It seems an ITV trope to butcher or kill characters to raise the "main" characters 🤔

Happens more in some shows compared to others.

I liked your analysis on Satya and his story with Sai.👍🏼

Yes, they do that all the time. They make positive characters to villains to glorify the leads or to just make the drama prolong and move the plot. Happens in nearly all Ekta shows. I am surprised Anupama and Ghum haven’t done that yet. Though in Ghum they did make Pakhi from positive to grey, but they still haven’t made her completely black. Vanraj, Kavya, Baa, etc are still not made completely negative even though I hate Vanraj lol. The characters in both shows are neither white or black. It’s more realistic that way. I used to feel so disappointed and sad seeing fav characters turned murderers and negatives in many of Ekta shows 😒😂

The grey shades are fine, but given up on Maa show as really tried to whitewash her after mistakes.

There was a prequel, where Vanraj was shown to be martial rapist and they still tried to whitewash him. At that point, he was completely black.

Sorry for discussing other show in this thread.

All I can say be careful as the show is heights of hypocrisy, as tends to be preachy through its main character. I started watching thinking it was progressive but broken from that delusion. 🤣
