There was a part of me that felt it.

I really really wish for Sai to genuinely move on with a nice guy (in this scenario, perhaps Satya), but after watching the promo, there was a part of me that felt quite emotional when Sai took Satya's hand in front of Virat. And that was the part that once shipped SaiRat together.

As much as I wish for Sai's happiness, there will always be a part that will feel disheartened not to see her live HEA with Virat. And the worst thing is, that part will not be satisfied even if she does end up being with Virat. Coz, this Virat is not the Virat I came to love and adore so much. SaiRat situation now feels like the situation between Satya and Girija (assuming that she doesn't miraculously come back alive). They might have been in love, have been perfect for each other, but their love story will never be complete. In the same way, SaiRat's love story will never be complete, regardless of whether Sai chooses Virat or Satya or no one, cause SaiRat doesn't exist now. It is now a piece of a puzzle whose one-half is long gone, utterly and brutally destroyed, and without the other half, it can never be whole again.

This is basically me being poetic in conveying my message to the makers:

There was a time when most were obsessing over SaiRat, i too felt very protective towards them...major reason why Aish was trolled but i guess we are past that stage... Now I am loving SaiYa, maybe obsessing over them a bit but won't mind even if they are not endgame and SaiRat are reunited at last...it would serve justice...why should Sai always get a second hand, used V while V gets pure Sai who always had just V in her life...

I was till Shruti track ig..i won't be lying it's not on-screen but offscreen made me lose love for them. Because what's happening isn't first time in ITV.

My issue with Saiya is that they could have given Sai a man that had no feelings for another woman. She deserves to be the first love to someone. Also, the writers will ruin her relationship with her daughter for Sai to have a healthy and happy relationship. If this is the case the writers have really given her the worse family…ex so called husband and children. Why do they love Virat? He is literally the one person to cause their mother so much pain and unhappiness. I hope she has more frozen eggs…her and Satya might need to start a new family. Perhaps, Sai’s kids will grow up to learn they were no better than their father. They will regret to see Sai has raised children she loves and adore and has moved on past them because they are reminders of nothing but pain.

This resonates with me so much. There was a time during deal marriage track, where we would have threads upon threads of romantic scenes we wanted to see, future tracks we'd like, fanfictions etc. I remember discussing personal love stories trying to understand how SaiRat would work.

The makers gradually killed their own coveted ship - so slow and with such precision that so many SaiRat fans have left the forum or turned into Sai fans.

I always say this - never degrade your ML so much that not even your crazy followers want to see him redeemed. There was a time SaiRat would top all popularity meters and now they don't even show up.

I see so much hoopla for MLs of other fandoms when they get butchered - all of the fans are still stuck on the OG ship. But the Ghum fandom has sort of accepted the fact that this is how it is.

I don't know if it is because the real couple is influential enough to bargain for the antagonist to stick around till time immortal - but every single character has been compromised with to give her everything.

Also, the lack of justice in this show - not a single character is ever even properly rebuked for their crimes - be it Kaku, Letter, Virat or anyone. I'm not even talking about jail time, not even a proper show down.

All I wanted was for Virat to feel sorry for everything wrong he did. Not for him to realise his love. But just acknowledge how he has wronged her. Utna bhi chalta.

How makers ruin their own characters is beyond me. Every SP show is the same now. ML, FL, PL, and children. Most people won't even know if the show has ended and the other has begun!
