V Sai look good together, or they have chemistry, or they had great scenes in the past does not mean in the context of stories' plot, we need to request makers to reunite them. All around, I have seen several people ask Vankar or post about Sai V being together again- as if that is some aspirational happy ending. That imo is a really regressive notion. that a happy ending can happen only when Sai is back with V. will any woman ever want to go back to being with a man who has repeatedly hurt her? he wasnt there for her in all the times that she counted on him to be there as her husband- he has ditched her in her times of need- wthether miscarriage, illegal surrogacy, standing by her decisions, even searching for her when she was missing after accident. She has gone through pregnancy with Savi all alone and even now when she is back he has been very cruel to Sai . Yes, She is always going to have a soft corner for him for the good that he has done- giving her shelter when she was orphaned and supporting her education. And she will always have a soft corner for him being her kids father. And she still trusts that in matters unrelated to her or family, V is a decent police waala also- except he barely goes to work. Sai having soft corner for him or even loving him- because she cant get over her love - does not mean she should get back together with him. Respect, trust trumps everything else. All this "love" is all hogwash. V as a partner, a companion has only failed Sai. As a father he is spineless. He has barely done anything for either of his kids. and looking at the narrative and track record, theres no scope for an angst filled track where V truly repents for everything he has done and does something to be a decent father and decent human being. Everything in ghum boils down to Sai blame + circumstances and Sai being made to feel guilty for everything.
If they were trying to shift gears to V wanting to be back with Sai and repenting etc, then atleast he should be taking charge of things. Instead he is letting Vinu be a brat, Vinu be scared and sitting at home not going to school, treating an elder - Sai with utter disrespect and he is watching P continue her shenanigans. He has done no planning to actually help Sai. He merely asks for time but goes and promises Vinu and P that Sai wont separate them! what has he achieved except to validate Vinu's fears that Sai will snatch him away by giving such a promise. has he tried to take Vinu out and explain things- no. He has kept him around P and he has just watched mutely.
Sai is the one taking charge again.
He has no curiosity about how Savi knows truth and how shes dealing with it and how Sai feels. His reaction is- I dont need to lie anymore. My job is done. So thats it.
As long as he gets to have both kids adoring him and seeing him as an ideal baba and his status quo regarding Sai and P- he doesnt care. he doesnt care enough to make P feel less insecure and he doesnt love Sai enough to end his farce of a marriage and apologize to Sai for everything he has done.
So neither P nor Sai matter. Neither do kids matter as long as they are with him, adoring him, looking up to him. Bass.
