However having been working for years my self this is what I feel- regardless of field - when you start your career it means a lot when those experienced in field acknowledge your good work and efforts. Especially in collaborative space.

Slightly different take on Ayesha bringing her audition again and again-

Is she hoping for some acknowledgment from her colleagues? It is obvious that she was identified as a misfit when she joined. She said it, NB n Vankar said in IVs too. First impressions were big question marks. So may be she needs their acknowledgment. She has fan recognition but I feel team (especially actors n some creatives- Vankar has praised her) recognition lacks for her.

For Aishwarya’s scene like child delivery n getting arrested scene, many cast members made post appreciating her performance- but the recent performance of Ayesha got no mention. It was high point not only of show- but for her as an actor- not because they did it for Aishwarya but because they all felt she was misfit as an actor - they should appreciated her growth as an actor.
It motivates newcomers or less experienced actors.
I feel- responsible seniors in any field should/would do that.

I am speaking about this from personal perspective -
I worked in space where we delivered analytical results to external collaborators. It was very specific tech type and I lacked experience as I was switching field so It was implied that I would need time and training. I gradually learned and became independent sooner than anticipated, I always received collaborator appreciation but I cant deny that it felt more assuring when my immediate team members and managers did it - because there was this question mark if I will be able to do it or not due to lack of experience.

PS: That is where my only grudge is for Neil not promoting Sai/Sairat. Its not about promoting ship. Its about making your colleague feel appreciated and encouraged. Like Ayesha does it wont hurt to say few words of acknowledgment.

see whatever is ayesha facing is very very common in every workplace..she is dealing with it and emerged as a better performer than many of them...So then why we should be bothered who has appreciated her or who has not..this would mean giving them undue importance..More importantly the same discussion we have been having since the inception...But did it lead to any conclusion..All we can do just fret and nothing.

Let me be honest despite she is the heroin of number two show , she yet to become a brand which is very important to survive...Sadly this ph cant even provide that platform for her for more exposure outside the ghum...Example all actors of yrkkh went to ITA and even won awards..another glaring incident we witnessed in RWSP that how this team lacked basic formality infront of the camera..As a result they were sidelined and ph did not even bothered to correct them or have a word with the actors...whoever is responsible star plus and ph should sit and have few words with the whole team...

Her real test begins after the show ends instead of bothering about petty issues

oh I am not at all upset or fretting. Just saw the pist and shared my thoughts.

About bold- you said it yourself- that is what Ayesha is loosing. Artists make themselves brand while they r visible. She is lead os no 2 show, part of lead pair pair that ruled charts effortlessly but she can not even claim her share of success because of workplace rivalry or whatever it is on that set.

With popularity that Sai/Sairat has/had they would have landed many endorsements n MVs by now if the other party was not in denial.

Sadly the field they are in - visibility and PR matters. But as you said- she is finding her ways so why fo we feel bad.

its not just about appreciation and bytes, the point is Ayesha is losing out on things she should rightfully get due to workplace rivalry and insecurities, issues of her costars. If she was cast with another actor things may have been even better for her in terms of visibility, PR, marketing, opportunities than what they are now which is singularly audience love and also her efforts with her new representatives. She is not getting the full reward despite so much hardwork from her side. If media houses and channel has other options available in other jodi's, they wont care. The onus is on makers, PH to support their actors- specifically Ayesha in a concrete way. not gimmicks but real steps.

I'm glad Ayesha is the kind of person she is. It's because of her that we know the backend crew of the team. It speaks a lot about her as a person.

Her thanking Neil is also absolutely fine. He did support her a lot. She must've had to do a lot of retakes, plus needed a lot of rehearsals initially. And NB must've been cooperative. Even media bytes, he would help her initially.

But the initial insecurity remains. Even in her MV interview she said she was nervous because she was in a solo MV. It was not a love song. It has no hero. Her MV has touched 4M in 2 months! The other MV was at 4M plus four months after its release!

The team entirely gave credit to the character in the first one year. Which is fine. But now, Ayesha owns the character completely. It's high time the PH and the cast acknowledges her contribution.

It's still not forthcoming. ..they only use her for attracting views. Sad but true.
