The female protagonist had been seperated from her biological child conceived through surrogacy in an accident earlier and he is later adopted by male protagonist. The male protagonist asks the mother to let go of her parental rights quoting suicidal tendencies of the boys adoptive mother/female antagonist. Also the same adoptive mother was the surrogate and has previously been criminally accused. Both these aspects are illegal as per adoption laws in India/CARA and an IPS officer supporting such behaviour is entirely wrong. Also the child was previously shown to be anxious to find his real parents to the point of running away in their search. To keep him in dark about his parentage by his own father is a cause for mental harassment and trauma and should be condemned. The male protagonist is breaking laws repeatedly inspite of being an IPS officer. Issues such as Adoption and Surrogacy are sensitive and if shown in bad light they tend to create wrong impressions among the viewers.

Appu tagging you since you asked me for a draft, take this to twitter people and spread it. We can also add how they are claiming the surrogate is the mother in the show especially Virat saying it.

At least someone got a valid complaint after days of filing them. The more we complaint in mass the better for us. It puts pressure on them to take action.
And larger than life arguments shouldn’t be considered now cause we know they love to stretch and push the narrative to a breaking point which shouldn’t be the case with this issue. We need to mass complaint no matter what on surrogacy.

I filed two complaints… illegal acts by DCP and illegal adoption as it was done by person who had criminal charges on being illegal surrogate

since they already showed P going to jail for illegal surrogate I filed it that P cannot adopt a kid

I don’t want to become an activist but showing things on National TV and misleading people in remote places who might not truly afford to get all the information is wrong.

As a human I can’t sit back and just let them mislead.

Adoption and surrogacy are sensitive issues, TV and entertainment industry is so wide spread they should be kept liable and accountable to show the truth.

Especially when they for an actual lawyer today to serve knowledge.

Also make a point to direct complaints against V's actions.

Since as per channel P is an antagonist... so her actions would be negative, complaints against her would be ignored ... but V is a protagonist... if he does crimes... it's very wrong ... irrespective of the fact that V is a police officer. V as a lead should be righteous one.

I personally don't care about any character. But the way they are making mockery of surrogacy/adoption laws, normalising abuse is problematic. It deserves complaint.

I am not discouraging or encouraging anyone but setting the expectations here based on my previous experience

Makers are very careful this time . My guess is they will show a scene where Sai explains along with her lawyer the rules of surrogacy in an episode or two .Today they made Virat admit that Sai has rights . IBF course correct means only this . They expect makers to state laws correctly and call out wrong practices .

if the intention is to FF the track then it might happen but doesn’t mean they will change the content . They will find a way to show what they have planned . Last time despite backlash they showed P giving birth and raising Vinu in a twisted way so it won’t be any different this time .

I was in this phase few months back so I am assuming someone might be going through the same . If anyone is thinking of getting back at the makers or to teach them a lesson for showing something we all have resisted then it’s not gonna happen because money speaks here and channel will find a way to get out of the mess . We will be disappointed by end of this . Show will not shutdown because of the complaint . The only way is when the trp drops .

by the by I had filed an IBF complaint for showing marriage clause as requirement for adoption months back when the track was aired . Until now I haven’t heard back from either the channel or IBF . Just a standard response that it’s forwarded to channel .
