Frankly speaking, few women mocking another woman for being infertile and adopting a child is completely wrong but when it comes to Pakhi, nothing is wrong. If it was some other woman in Pakhi's place the scene would have been disgusting. The writers obviously added this scene to glorify Pakhi. We as audience need to choose to react. They have called her Yashoda before too, but we need to hold fort and keep complaining. This episode can result in an ibf complain- mockery of Hindu sentiments comparing Lord Krishna’s mother to a criminal. It’s a serious offence.

devki was the biological mother who gave birth to Krishna but didn’t raise him.

Yashoda was the adoptive mother who raised Krishna but didn’t give birth……

the day it came for Krishna to go protect his biological parents and free them from kansa, Yashoda willingly let him go despite the fact that she sacrificed her own daughter to let Krishna live- hence Krishna blessed her saying her sacrifice will never go to vain and she will be known as my mother like I am devkinandan I will be known as yashodanandan too.

It was Yashodas Maiyas sacrifice for devkis son and devkis womb that was blessed by Krishna the avtar of Vishnu.

It’s funny how Pakhi the criminal compares herself to a pious woman who never asked Krishna to stay back or even visit her after he left.

Krishna never returned to Gokuldham once he left neither did Yashoda ask him to return. He knew that post that day his duty was towards his biological parents and he stuck by it.

Will Pakhi sacrifice like Yashoda for devki? No. Instead she will run away with the child wanting to deprive him of his biological mother. Yashoda and devki has no qualms as they understood that Krishna loves both equally. But here the selfish woman won’t and when a criminal compares themselves to god it cancels itself out.
