Why he doesn't break this marriage and go after Sai is a question only makers can answer... but V is not going to give anything more than the paperwork status of wife to P. Doesn't look like it.
Also one cannot expect him to agree that he has feelings for Sai na... so ofcourse he lies. Don't go by his words.
It's been few days since Sai has started working at PS. Mostly a month since she gets her first salary in ghumland day of today.
V-Sai have managed to establish a professional relationship and Sai is back to 'aap'... V as 'Dr. Joshi'. It's all at basic smiles level, something that irks P.
She has been keeping watch on V and has been dropping by at his office quite frequently at minor excuses. V is noticing all this and there's an irritability in their entire conversation at school.
Kids have been assigned a project and are supposed to work together. The car ride is on the insistence of kids and V fishes for Sais reaction when P claims haq on him but touching him unnecessarily.
The project name looks like a taunt by the makers, internal enemies vs external enemies. V Sai have an eye contact at this through the rear view.
CN is usual Sai blaming drama and it seems like V is paying no heed to anybodys concern about working with Sai. Ninad wonders if what BK is saying might happen after all.
VP convo in room is V giving back P whatever she told him in the 'insecure' fight. He asks her why she is behaving like she needs to mark her territory. And that her recent behaviour is being noticed by everyone and they are making fun of him (P had told him the same thing about Mera sab log majak banayenge).
His reasoning at not asking Sai to come to CN is fine. It will lead to more drama and he wants to avoid that. Plans on completing the work soon at Sai Niwas and come back home.
P is not convinced. Her concerns about him working with Sai or calming her 'as wife' are invalidated by V. Terms them fizool.
V holds her by the arms and asks her to look into his eyes and see whether she finds any love for Sai.
I loved this shot... it's V lying to P as a seasoned criminal.
When he asks her to do this, he extends his blink too long and twice. (The classic NB sleeping pose... that everyone makes fun of).

Anyway, the proximity and the touch 🤢 seems to have hypnotize P and she suddenly cools down.
Mohit barges in (koi bhi Bina knock Kiya kyun aata yahan????) with a meeting request for P. She has been postponing it since she was busy keeping an eye on V. She wants to postpone it again.
V asks her to go ahead knowing fully well why she is doing this and that because of her suspicions and paranoia she should not ignore the business deals.
Sai and UM are planning a panipuri party. UM is back on the train where she feels Sai and V have resolved matters. Sai muses that it's not the case and she understand why P is reacting like this.
