It is Gold! Pure Gold.
The math scene was so good. The way JM explained using the rings.
Gold is a symbol of royalty, purity. He placed the two rings on the ground representing Savi and Sai respectively. In a way giving the message that they are pure and valuable as gold.
JM asked everything that was logical and yet V ignored so far. But the point to be noted was V only registered the logics related to Savi. At this point he is too occupied with the thought that Savi is his daughter, The happiness that his dream came true. Yes, he subconsciously wished that Savi should be his daughter. So his guilt and realisation of his mistakes are limited to Savi. "Bewde ne jo bhi Yede ko Savi ke baare mein bola woh dimag mein aise chap gaya!"
He is beating himself for not reading the signs, for not ever thinking that Savi could be his daughter.
Now note this dialogue "Maine kaise nahi socha ki Savi meri beti hai".
No where does he think about how he doubted that Sai would cheat or move away from him. He never said "maine kaise nahi socha is Sai kabhi kisi aur se pyaar nahi kar sakti"
Very clearly he is keeping Sai and Savi separate. It's weird because not thinking about Savi being his daughter, clearly indicates that he doubted Sai to have moved on. They are connected.
When he is recalling the scenes with Savi and questioning himself, he has no images of Sai's question. Sai saying that she gave birth to Savi, She asked him what he means by who is Sai's father, Sai saying that Savi is only her child, why she slapped him nothing.
JM was very clear on Sai. But V did not reflect on any of those questions or facts. Which means there is no introspection happening and he will play victim and Sai will be his culprit. And as a father, the culprit of his daughter.
Suddenly Savi is "Meri Bacchi" not "Humari bacchi".
He is asking valid questions, "Sai ne mujhe sach kyon nahi bataya", but refuses to believe that he knows the answers. As they put him on the spot instead of Sai. Yes, Sai did wrong to keep Savi away from her father, but he was the root cause. At every point, when she could have revealed he said or did things that made her retreat. Right from where he asked her "Kiski beti hai Savi" to Sai's character assassination. I still believe after that he does not deserve to be raising a girl child.
