ACP to DCP - Character Growth

Now that ACP has been promoted to DCP ( Totally undeserving - khair! ), just wanted to have a look at his character growth .

The only growth I see is in terms of his looks - abtho bilkul oldie lagtha hain.

Gone are the days of dapper Virat Chavan! On the other hand, Sai looks like a million dollars!

ACP

Had strong morals

Was proud of his principles and values that he stood for

Chahe kuch bhi ho, he was always faithful to Sai (at least mann main). He could not love anyone else

He always kept Paki away from his and Sai's neeji maamle (he fumbled a few times, but I will still give it to him)

He was so proud of Sai's achievements and always supported in her dreams

Fought with his family (at least a few times) for Sai's rights

DCP

No morals whatsover, still the same old Chavan who supports crimes - both Paki's and his family's

Refuses to accept his mistakes - as usual always blaming Sai for anything that goes wrong

His gussa does not even spare Vinu sometimes

Shamelessly touchy-feely with Paki, though he himself told her that theirs is just a marriage to adopt Vinu and nothing else

His loyalty to Sai is highly questionable now

He saw in Kankavli how she was helping the village and living her dream of giving back to the community through her profession. Still he hasnt asked her a single word about it or said a word of appreciation.

He seemed so angry that she is alive and living her dream - Selfish kahin ka!

His brain (whatever little bit he had) has become non existent now

Sai has grown mentally and has become a strong mother. She has become more mature with age.

How come the same does not apply to Virat? As he got older, he became more and more obnoxious. Why does his brain grow backwards?

I know they want to keep him dumb for drama and to keep Paki relevant,blah blah...!

But even after all these years, he doesn't say a word against any of the vile creatures of CN when they spit venom at Sai.

Ye kaisa character hain !

Being a male lead, kuch tho acha rakho jiss se viewers thoda connect kar sake.

He has been turned into the most despicable character who is not even worthy of being a Lead! Itna gira diya isko ki agar redemption kare bhi na, viewers will not accept him. He is now irrepairable.

Nowhere in his character does he portray any love (purani or nayi) for Sai. All we see is gussa and disgust bhari looks.

Doesnt he have one happy moment with her that he can think of?

Isko bhi amnesia hogaya kya, writers ki tarah?

Itna gira hua insaann mein ne kisi bhi show main abhi tak nahin dekha hain!

Maybe Vanku needs a new dictionary to learn what positivity means.

This show is just toxic and triggering and upar say the most hated ML.

I hope the rumours are true and Ghum goes off air by Dec

But I don’t see any difference between d virat pre leap and post leap

From d day sai entered his house after marriage I just see him as who is dumb stupid foolish spineless and easily manipulated

From d sruti track his character is gradually destroying and after surrogacy it’s completely destroyed beyond redemption and repair

Now even makers can’t revive his core character and even if makers try also viewers r not accepting and will never accept

And one more difference I see is his(Virat’s) pants got more tight now
