Btw there is one thing I want to openly say today and I know I am in super minority but I don’t find Ghum toxic at all.

I find it ridiculously hilarious! This show has no weight to be taken seriously, let alone be affected by it. So toxic or no toxic is an individual choice. I don’t find it toxic at all.

Not even once he thinks about what sai must have felt seeing him with pakhi. I want her to ask harsh questions and her ‘conclusions’ on why he married pakhi. How he cannot wait for her to die so he can marry his first love! The same woman that broke their marriage. I hope she doesn’t back off 🤞

he can ask all his doubts that were troubling him! As her husband once and lover who was pained he can ask every damn question about her affair. But the way he asked is insensitive. When he himslef is in a relationship with a similar person. Make it a conversation not accusation. But I am glad they showed it this way, because that’s how society gives leeway to men. I too liked the message even though it took away the pace of the fight. People who watch the show will know about this hypocrisy

Unfortunately most men behave that way, educated in high society or not. Not all are like Kamal Sir.

I agree with Moor and you on the continuity aspect of that slap scene. It didn’t feel right.

And like you said it would have been better if they ended with that slap. And given that monologue of V in between Chavan blabber and V reaching Sai’s place. But with how it turned out, V came convinced that Sai was having an affair.

With those generic dialogues on women being soft targets, it seemed more like touching upon a social issue and that is it. Though the facts she stated were spot on. But when she was not referring to P as this was between them, she should have kept it that way.

But I doubt any of these questions are coming nor is V in receptive mode. He is completely closed at this point, with only his assumption as correct.
The point is he cannot make such huge allegations point blank. So he is coming from a place where he feels its true and now even if someone argues he will not take that. Because it is not a question anymore, it is a proper allegation. Character assassination. And he will never want to believe he did it. This whole fact will make him completely shut himself from seeing or listening to any logic that Sai might be saying. I know Sai has also gone back to “I’m not answerable to you” and “You have no right”. But initially she did say things which if a person who is only trying to clear his/her doubts would comprehend in right context. But the slap hit his ego. And like I said he was not willing to go back after using such strong accusations. Similar to Ajinkya track where he refused to listen to anything Sai was saying.
If you see the scene after the slap she is accusing him of his thinking. She slapped him when he called Jagtap as her BF. The guy who knows about her self respect would have got the message just by that. But V came there with a picture clear in his mind.

Coming to the dialogues after that though I feel they were generic, on second thoughts I felt that is how Sai is.

We don’t have any insights into her past. And probably she had a hard life as a single mother. What she said were her own experiences. But we know Sai she will never share her ordeal with anyone. Especially not with V at this juncture. Then it fits in for me. It wasn’t a generic opinion or preaching. It was how she had to lead her life

Yes ofcourse it is the life she lived in all probability. We have seen glimpses of it. Virat himslef heard them when gulab Rao accuses her. As you said, he is total shut down 😳. Look what he did with vinu’s treatment. He is in the same mode. Now after savi’s reveal he will go 10x more madder! God save him!! Sai is not going back easily 👍 not after yesterday.

Movies have a lot more detailing and metaphors. They utilise everything available, from words to objects to people to sound everything. There is a lot more deeper thinking involved in the presentation.

But I always wondered if TV used the same technique. And if so how do they manage with such tight schedule and deliverables.

I seriously have doubts on their intentions. If they intend to keep V-P together high time they get a new ML. If not, they need to tone down V, and his mannerism. Good introspection is long due and he is running late on his repentance. But they are making it extremely toxic with this triangle. It is not that this is the first love triangle, but ghum has taken it to a different level which is unhealthy.

Sadhika, I liked the “Tum” take. It actually struck. But I only took it as Sai finally losing all respect for this man as he was now unworthy of any such respect.

Contrary to what lot of people are thinking here including me sometimes, they are not masking pakhi’s faults. Or white washing her. The narrative of JM and pakhi running parallely is always questioning how come virat allowed pakhi?! Even yesterday fight, it is inevitable sai will ask about pakhi. From the first day sairat saw each other with JM and pakhi, there are prarallels. If JM can become a genuine friend then why can’t pakhi?! What is missing in their transformation. I believe they are writing some good plot however the toxicity is reaching roof.

also pakhis life is even pathetic than before. She got nothing except the name. Only extra relationship she earned is ashwini. But ashwini has no love for her! Look how mother ashwini was panicking for sai. How she blindly trusts sais character. Vinu is not bonded to her. He will chose sai any moment now. What she has is sai’s grace. If she decides to go to court, pakhi will have nothing. Better she get some confidence and self respect Atleast so when everything is lost, she can survive.

BK is ….The language she uses is down right demeaning and pathetic. She has always used such words for Sai. Her hatred now is at its peak

There has to a reason for such extreme hatred.

If today was a repeat of Ajinkya track, then Pulkit should make an entry. I was thinking about the same. He was the strongest one standing up in Sai’s favour. And I want that Pulkit back who pulls up V for his act. But who will tell him this? There is no audience. V will never reveal and Sai is not the types to bitch.
Pulkit will be the best best since he is aware of V’s backstory, but he is impartial and upright in his assessment. So he can rip apart V for this. However, I feel JM is going to take the place off Sai’s biggest defender and it will only escalate things from V’s end.

High time the teams start showing up. The Sai supporters wake up!
