About the Ajinkya incident, few days back someone had pointed out that Rono did Emon ka character assassination multiple times. V is not like that, he is quite mellow. He has not done this post Ajinkya... if V has learned his lesson... he won't react the same way.

Also like Sherry said, V doesn't want to think that something as bad as an assault could have happened with Sai... so he won't think about it till someone puts this idea in his mind. And then only his angry bull might come out again... because V would not tolerate this idea. Hopefully this happens and Jags blurts out the truth after a physical tussle between him and V.

Though I'm at a loss of words at his lack of intelligence, it is what it is. He is insecure and has always been about Sai capable of leaving him. Thanks to the "Deal". So it is easier for him to assume she moved on than she stayed loyal to him even if that is what his heart wants to hear. Hence, he is not even thinking on those lines. Because for him if it was his child Sai would have informed him. She would not have hidden such a big news that they have a daughter. And the same goes for the Chavans. I dont know what method of this story telling is called, but by seeing jaggy with Sai, we need to understand the dynamics between pakhi and virat too. If both are same, then why is Virat forgiving Pakhi? Why not Sai. I dont think what Pakhi has done is lesser when compared to Jaggy. Jaggy killed people, Pakhi killed relationships and was the reason for their separation and loss of Vinu.

I just responded on similar lines somewhere today. Ghum has its love for parallels. And P and JM are being shown simultaneously for the same reason.

And if you notice, we are also making those comparisons. They are showing that contrast for the same reason I believe.
