I don't get why he is not inclined to search for that person but I guess the absence of that person and Sais hurt at every mention makes V to not look for it. Escapism. He may think he will not like the answer.

However, look at all his interactions when he is observing Sai... he has that glossy eye look ... sometimes even when P is nearby.

The phone convo also had an important element today. V is operating as Sais friend right now... he said it in flow and then remembered the 'professional' clause they had set. So he didn't complete it. But in his mind, he has moved from professional to friend... and his heart had not let of her... so it's a matter of time before this conflict presents itself to him. This friend zone might also be due to the fact that he knows Sai has given the blessings. And there's Vinu in picture. He cannot break this marriage for Vinu. That much is 💯 true.

About the Ajinkya incident, few days back someone had pointed out that Rono did Emon ka character assassination multiple times. V is not like that, he is quite mellow. He has not done this post Ajinkya... if V has learned his lesson... he won't react the same way.

Also like Sherry said, V doesn't want to think that something as bad as an assault could have happened with Sai... so he won't think about it till someone puts this idea in his mind. And then only his angry bull might come out again... because V would not tolerate this idea. Hopefully this happens and Jags blurts out the truth after a physical tussle between him and V.

I don't think the convo between Sai-JM was about Savi's paternity. It was only for JM to know what has happened and of Sai's suffering. And if he is really reformed, he will make the amends for his deeds by being the force that will mend things for Sai
