Logically you are right, but when have these makers ever cared about the legalities and social aspect.

The family and the man (who lost everything) has hailed the woman so high and the person who according to them is dead is blamed for everything. Waah aur kya bolna hain.

Even if Sai is dead how come the case is closed?

Yaa complaints have made some impact on them.

I think 3 times mass complaint will pull off the plug of this show.

So ..

1. Adopted by a couple - the mother has a criminal record..against the adoption law

2.the couple has to have been married for 2 years.

3. Death certificate of the dead spouse ( that they can produce but Sai's alive so somewhere it would've come out)

Now this is a valid point. Patralekha has a criminal record. Even if the victim is assumed dead, the record is there.

It would have been much better if Virat had adopted it. This adoption will initially make Sai forgive Virat for marrying Patralekha
