V would have come to Savi's rescue anyways. Bt yes, knowing her to be his daughter will only add to him freaking out.

He has already started to question Savi's identity. He has not yet thought of Sai having a man in her life. (He can't even dream of that 🤣). His clues should start from the pics on the wall of Sai and Savi alone. He knows Savi does not have a father. Next he will know that Savi is the girl who wrote on the trees. So that tells him that Savi has not told her anything about her father. Dead or alive..nothing. Which will be strange. GR bringing up paternity will be a turning point. Will he see some of Sai's pregnancy pics and some with her and Savi as a baby. That will make him move away from the doctor's statement and know that Sai did conceive. That should be enough for him to believe Savi is Sai's biological daughter. And after that he will have no questions on who the father is.

My question is...when will the dumb head focus on the name "Savi". Will we need Sunny to do the honours here? And Sunny still be a team Sai now? He is the most balanced person, who can put some sense into V.

But I guess the earlier ML never consummated his marriage with FL, whereas he did with the PL and they both had a baby too. In Ghum, V has not had any conjugal relationship with P, while he has fathered 3 kids with Sai. And there is one that is known to be alive.
