For me it's not how long they were married for rather how long Sai was missing from his and chavans lives. See now Vankar can easily justify everything literally everything that has been driving us nuts from the start of the leap. They'll show Virat was in mourning for some years, Pakhi the mahaan did everything to reform herself including bringing a kid from orphanage, killed all the negativity inside Bhavani etc etc

So she was rewarded with a husband and kid, even all of Ashwini's crap can be justified.

Only Sai will look bad here. Virat at least thought she's dead and couldn't come looking for her (forget usha mausi logic) even if he did regret his words. Sai could've gone back or formally informed about Savi. All in all Sai is the bad person.

I won't forgive Virat even if he lived only one day as Pakhi's pati, nothing can justify his actions to marry the woman who hurt his wife and kid.

Exactly there's nothing to revive here, they both were capable of living perfectly normal lives without each other.

My issue is with how blame is gonna fall solely on Sai. At the beginning it was Virat who messed up their lives by giving nonsense vaada to one and marrying the other. Pakhi too was to be blamed for taking all her frustrations out on Sai instead of the guy who broke his promise. No one's gonna remember the spiteful actions/words of P towards Sai or how Virat always prioritized P ahead of Sai which led to her insecurities and anger. It will become how dare she keep my daughter away from me for 9 years, hence the constant baap jaap from Savi.

Now after 9 years of completely staying away won't she become the home wrecker for coming in between Virat Pakhi who are in fact actually trying to move on? I have full faith he would move on since he's not exactly shying away from sharing everything with her.

I'm afraid they might show V dying and Sai living happily with Savi and Pakhi doing the same with Vinu whom she's actually shown to care for in order to balance out the story. They won't give short end of the stick to P this time around after all sacrifices she made. They both will have a part of V but not him, cuz till the end the guy couldn't figure out his priorities!
