The deadliest weapon.....WORDS!!
I agree with Moor278. It was a good, high voltage and exhausting episode. There was so much that had been unaddressed between them. They were playing it safe to keep it more cosy and pleasant between them. And today with all that was pent up it came flowing out. It was ugly, with what was said to each other.
It is true that more than actions, its the words that hurt more and stay with you. Hence, it is said that one has to be mindful of what they say. Once said, it can't be taken back.
Today even though V realised his mistake immediately when Ashwini pointed it out, it was still late. Those words had caused the damage. Till that moment Sai was still holding up on her marriage despite the disagreement and "Orphan" comment. For her those words meant that they were leading a dual life and he was faking the love all this while. That was her breaking point that made her believe this marriage was a sham. And she rightly called it out. Yes her accusation later about V being responsible for KJ's death was a blow on him, but it was more of a retaliation. Where she finally wanted to give it back to him for his words.
He called her out for all that she did for his family as if it was all wrong. The very same things that he ones appreciated and thanked her for.
What was she to make out of all this? That he had been lying to her throughout and there was nothing true in their marriage.
This was something that was initiated by BK, with Sonali others pitching in. But none really saw this blowing up to such level. It was their usual ego clash with Sai and as usual they expected to shut Sai through. But this whole issue raised by them caused the fight between Sai and V.
I don't see any of them changing. If Vinu returns they would not really be concerned. If Sai was walking out alone, this would not have been such a big showdown. They may mourn at the news, but they will soon be back, because for them Sai was a trouble maker. And with P and Vinu with them they would only think it as good riddance. The only reason why they would feel guilty is because of V. His state will determine how long they will grieve.
Also his state is what will also make them propose Virakhi marriage. Nothing more ideal as per BK. And she will always have the excuse of Vinu.
For BK to feel that pinch, it has to be proven that Sai was indeed the luck and P the one to bring back luck. Again Moor like you mentioned I wish someone points out P's "Ulte kadam". But they wont. I know it is quite superstitious and stuff, but anything to pull down P. The reason is that even if she is not reformed, she has got everything. So she will be the ideal bahu and mother to Vinu. There is nothing that will stop BK and the family to not accept her. Her crimes have already been forgotten and forgiven. So practically there is nothing going against P now.
So I would want the family to suffer, with the family disintegrating, despite BK's best efforts. Even if they live together, they should no longer be the close family and BK should lose her power. And the family should lose their financial bearings too. They need to be hit from all sides.
Coming to P - It would indeed be ideal, if P turns to her usual nature. But that doesn’t seem like it. She is reformed...as unconvincing as it may seem. But we can't say how she may react when Sai returns. As by then the dynamics would have changed and she would have found new hopes and stronger attachments. So it will have to be seen if she feels insecure and if she reacts to the threat. For now, she has every thing she wanted. So there is nothing that she will do to disrupt it.
But if she is reformed, then it would be her regret. She has cursed Sai and V multiple times. I wish for once V would remind P of her curse, that he will never find happiness and will also feel the pain of rejection and loneliness like her. Her curse has been delivered. And he should say this in front on Chavans. He won't say it when he is in his senses, so this has to come when he is completely broken by Sai's death. P has said that it is V's hatred that has affected her the most. So she still harbours the soft corner, whether she still pines on getting him is a different debate. But she should regret her words, that have left V heartbroken and shattered. Once this would have given her peace, but now it should bite on her conscience.
A few things that were revisited today
Sai accusing V of being the cause of KJ's death. She was nobody to him when she first said those words to him. And today she did it again. He was nobody to her then....today he turned from everything to nothing!!
He closed the door on her back. He did the same thing during Devkit wedding. He regretted and went after her, but Sai refused to return. He has had multiple chances after that, with Sai leaving or ending up in hospital but every time, Sai returned. But this time he will not be able to get her back. Nothing can bring her back. The point that he had always taken her for granted.
Few sentences that were spoke so much about V's delusions. He said that he always compromised. It has been Sai who has been accepting all his faults and giving into his excuses and reasoning. He took away all those moments from her from the implantation, yet she gave in. When did he understand her or believe, till she got the proof. And what good did all this do. They were back to favouring P.
He said she always talks about herself "Main, main". This was the first time she was demanding something and that too as a mother, and he labelled her as selfish.
V spoke about his rights as a father. He has taken away Sai's every right as a mother, right from making P the surrogate, to giving away their baby to her.
Words like I said are powerful, and some are so poignant from today.
V called Sai as a burden, and the cause of Sam's death - "Maine bhoj uthaya hai, tumhari wajah se apne bhai ki arthi ka bhi"
Sai said "Main ab kabhi is ghar mein kadam nahi rakhoongi"
For V's accusation, Sai decided not to be burden on him anymore.
If her body will not be found, it will be like even in death she refused to burden him anymore and he will not even get to carry her "Arthi".
If they find someone's body and claim it as Sais', it would then be like he accused her of his brother's death and now she repaid by her own.
Sai will not return to the house. So if there is no corpse, she refused to return even as dead body..keeping her word on it.
V gave Sai a warning, that if she stepped out of the house, it would signify that she is out of his life. Precisely what will happen now. And he will regretting letting her go
I wish there is a scene with Samrat as well, where he beats him up for his actions. At least there is someone who strongly stands by Sai, even if it is not real.
Ashwini will try to speak with V, as usual as he himself is incapable of thinking. But it needs to be seen of he starts reflecting on his actions, or it is only start post Sai's missing/death.
