We should. My pain point is Sai's consent has no valid law or is there?? If there is, we could stress on her consent.

It really shows the lopsided nature of our laws if there's no law about the consent of both parents. Because in India generally, mother's consent is over ridden family etc. That's what happened with Sai.

Plus, if they said....watch the episodes as they unfold, the point you made is in an episode after that 'singular' episode. So the story is progressing as per Pakhi. There's no sign of the illegality being addressed even after a week.

In fact, they are jumping to the hostage drama to divert attention of the audience. But everything is status quo behind the scenes.

Also I think continued emails, complaints may at least put pressure on them to show a track where PP gets jailed and V is at least asked a few tough questions.

I am grateful that you at least cared about providing a response but I am completely unsatisfied by the response.

Theres a fine line between larger than life drama and the potrayal of certain objectionable and illegal deeds.

Showing a crime happen is different than doing it through a lens where it is being excused or made light of.

The problem is not just that patralekha is a surrogate violating every law pertaining surrogacy

The biggest problem is Virats behavior.

Virat is an IPS officer! It is unacceptable that in his so called vulnerability he will stand by and watch something illegal be carried out. And the fact that he has little or no regret but instead calls out his wife as being "stubborn" and cannot see the inappropriateness of his own behavior and Patralekhas crime is utterly problematic.

If Virat had been absent, shown only concerned for his wife's whereabouts and searching for her instead of permitting Patralekha to proceed with an illegal procedure the audience would not be so upset. At least it would be a little bit palatable.

You have made a joke out of an IPS officer. When a police officer is seen behaving this way, it maligns the image of the police. Is this how the makers abd channel want to represent a "righteous police officer". Because Virats character is supposed to be that. Not a corrupt/crooked policeman.

Patralekha needs to be jailed. She is a criminal. Any excuses to not show that is not acceptable.

However you have a poor track record and precedent in terms of showing people get called out and punished for crimes.

In this very show you have shown Bhavani get away without any punishment and barely any regret even, for big crimes like separating a child from parents, giving up a baby to an orphanage without parent's consent.

Patralekha forging a letter also never even came to light. So she didn't even have to apologize.

So clearly this show or Starplus doesn't care about "justice" , showing that crimes have a punishment with a magnitude commensurate with the nature of the crime.

If an individual commits fraud, identify theft, provides misinformation, interferes in a matter as sensitive as surrogacy, gets herself impregnated without consent of biological mother, hires goons to assault the biological mother and then now plots to never give the child back to parents - what should be the punishment for all this?!

In your " larger than life " universe only crimes are big, the punishments are not.

In GHKPPM, either no one will ever know or it will be one half hearted apology and case closed.

Patralekha should be seen serving her time in jail. Anything else will be utterly irresponsible of the channel to telecast.

We can. Matlab to add volume, I will also file complaints but here are 2 things:

-Yes what Patralekha said was not right and legally she cannot do that.

- No. It doesn't come within guidelines laid down by IBF.

These are two different things. At the most kya karenge, scene ke neeche disclaimer daal denge but scene rakhenge zaroor.

We need to have our expectations straight. What do we want from complaints? Removal of scenes, change of track ya just to let them know our displeasure.

It is a fictional show, and people to whom we all are complaining, take it at the face value. But yes, if everyone is lodging a complaint, I will also do so just to add for the numbers.

Or should we wait for TRP to drop. They will change themselves. If we force, will they make v-p sleep like tamarind just to prove a point?

So yes, let's put together a response, even bullet points about what we are not happy with. Suggestions would be welcome. But obviously no personal comments about the PL not being able to act. Let's keep it to illegality. Moment we get personal they won't take us seriously.

Also we need to contest this notion that we are reacting on singular episodes. We have been following the show for 550+ episodes. We know what they have shown before better than the makers and actors because we point out their inconsistencies which they dont notice. 🙄

So this "wait and watch" is all BS.

We knpw their tricks. We know their precedent. We have demands about how to salvage such a pathetic track too-- show pp in jail and V repent and beg for a few weeks for forgiveness. Not a 2 episode brushing away of crimes of humongous magnitude and making a mockery of a sensitive subject.

What PP is doing is not a "misunderstanding". Its deliberate plotting with evil intentions and criminal intent. And nothing excuses it.

She needs to be punished commensurately and so do all the people that aid her- her mother, bhavani and Virat himself.

If today the excuse for his lack of emotions about Sai in danger in hostage situation is that he's too busy handling it professionally then how come he didn't do the same with this issue. How can he be excused for being "vulnerable" . And how come his vulnerablity is never directed towards Sai- the wife whom he claims to love?!
