I was super pissed off at Vankar's insensitive dialogues for 2 days. Yesterday I did not want to talk about the episode due to BK's dialogues. Today Sai put her in place, but yesterday it was too off putting for me to write anything. But I guess, lot of regressive people would have identified with BK yesterday and hidden their faces today when Sai uttered those wonderful dialogues.
I trust Vankar with KD for two reasons though
Vankar never drifted away from KD though he failed to capture Virat correctly, I think he did well with Sai. I like his version of Sai better. He made Virat little more sensitive but failed to capture their dynamics as in KD. I was really impressed with Vankar for his MiMo track. He has made Pakhi irrelevant for Sai very easily in that track. And he did seem to go for fake pregnancy during that time by making Samrat go to MB and placing Pakhi around Virat. But he surprised me with Sruthi track. Though I could not connect to Virat, Sai's insecurities are out and open. There was distrust, thank to Virat too who never addressed them clearly and Sai could not have realized her love for Virat without that catharsis. Even if Pakhi was not in the picture, she had to trust that she was the only one for Virat and Vankar brought that out clearly through her realization. It shows that he does put thought into the tracks.
Second reason is his interview long back, dont remember when. He said the story follows KD arc, but they will cater to Hindi audience.
Contrary to many beliefs, I was always confident that it would be fake pregnancy. Because of the above two reasons.
Only complaint with Vankar for me is that being a well read writer, he should tone down some dialogues. Especially these sensitive matters like infertility and surrogacy. Give Sai more strong dialogues like he did today.
Ideally I want Sai to file a case on Virat and family members if the implantation fails. It need not be wife vs husband. But a mother vs the family that tried to take away her rights. Like MiMo track, he can introduce such plots and make the point more clearer. Also, make Sai more formidable with Virat in regards to this Geetha case as today. I did not like a bit when she mellowed down on Surrogacy issue this easily. I am glad she is back!!
